RUSH: Here’s Jan in the Bay Area, San Francisco, great to have you on the EIB Network. Hello.

CALLER: Hi, Rush. I want to congratulate you first of all on your marriage to such a wonderful and classy lady.

RUSH: Thank you very much. Appreciate that.

CALLER: And I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for all you’re doing to proclaim the truth and promote liberty throughout this great country of ours.

RUSH: Thank you very much.

CALLER: And much to the dismay of Katty Kay, I’d like to sing your praises a little. A group called Liberty and Freedom Foundation brought Sarah Palin out here, and my daughter’s had the chance to play the harp for her and meet her, and you know what they said when they came home? It was hilarious. ‘Now all we have to do is meet Rush Limbaugh and we can rest in peace.’

RUSH: (laughing)

CALLER: So you’re really loved here.

RUSH: Thank you very much.

CALLER: You’re welcome. Thank you. What I was calling about was all this voter fraud. You led off today with that story from Nevada. We’ve heard about military ballots not being mailed out. We’ve heard about instructions not being printed in New York. You know, it’s just kind of adding up and it’s looking really scary, and since you’re the expert here, I thought I’d call you up. Freedom Works just endorsed a candidate out here, Rick Tubbs, and he’s running against a 35-year incumbent, which I happen to live in his District 7 out here, George Miller.

RUSH: Oh.

CALLER: Yeah.

RUSH: George, yeah.

CALLER: I know how much you love him. Yeah. So he holds some really key positions there, chairmanships, education, labor, natural resources, you know, things aren’t looking too good in the areas that George is in charge of, and this guy’s mounting a campaign that’s awesome, and for the first time in years Miller is actually having to get out and campaign. He’s a little angry. And I went to one of his debates in his own hometown, full of SEIU workers, and a lot of them were brought in from San Francisco, given a nice dinner, given their T-shirts, and some of these guys in the audience said to us, ‘You know, you’re running a great campaign. And we know it’s neck and neck,’ which is, you know, unheard of around here, because this district is 48% Democrat, 26% Republican, and 24 Independent. So we’re outnumbered two to one. And they’re running scared for the first time ever. Miller is handing out his own fliers at our BART station, which is the equivalent of the Metro. And I’ve never seen him mount a campaign in my life. I’ve lived here 47 years. I was born in his hometown, and I still live here. And all his neighbors aren’t voting for him. If you drive down the street where he lives there’s Rick Tubbs signs up all over. But what the SEIU union worker said that really frightens me is, ‘You know, you’re running a great campaign, but we have ways to fix that at the ballot box.’ And to me that’s a threat of voter fraud. And, you know, I’m out there, I’m gonna vote, I’m volunteering, first time since college, I walked precincts for B-1 Bob Dornan, and I’m —

RUSH: Let me tell you something. Let me jump in here.

CALLER: Yeah.

RUSH: I don’t know if this is going to be truthful here to this case, the George Miller race, but nationwide the turnout is going to be such they can’t cheat enough to stop what’s going to happen. Now, they may be able to protect a George Miller over here, Barney Frank in Massachusetts, but protecting somebody who won 77-21 last time, that was Miller’s victory margin last time, 77-21.

CALLER: Yeah.

RUSH: And Miller, of course, a major proponent of card check so he’s got the SEIU in his back pocket, he’s a major union supporter. And George Miller, for those of you that don’t know, if you weren’t around paying attention, back in the eighties during the Iran-Contra period what was at stake there was Nicaragua going communist. And the Soviets had a puppet installed down there named Daniel Ortega, and Daniel Ortega would come to the United States for support, financial support, cocktail parties in Manhattan. He would go shopping on Fifth Avenue for sunglasses being escorted by the musical trio Peter, Paul, and Mary, and they’d be throwing parties for him. Now, what Miller’s responsibility was during the Iran-Contra battle, every time that Daniel Ortega did something to embarrass the Democrats who totally supported him and the Soviets and their attempt to have a beachhead in Nicaragua, every time Ortega did something publicly to embarrass the Democrats, it’s George Miller that the speaker of the House Jim Jones at the time would send down there to slap Ortega’s face saying, ‘Look, you can’t keep embarrassing us this way. We’re gonna keep supporting you, but you can’t fly off to the Soviet Union two days after we vote for you and ask ’em for $500 million bucks.’

So Miller, along with Jim Jones from Oklahoma, who then went to the American Stock Exchange, Fort Worthless Jim Wright, that whole crowd back then, Boland amendment, anti-Reagan, they were doing everything they can to support the establishment of a communist beachhead in Nicaragua, and George Miller was the point man for them to go down there and slap Ortega’s face, slap him around when he embarrassed ’em. So that’s who we’re up against here, and he won 77-21 two years ago. So if they’re having to cheat to keep him in office, I guarantee you they may succeed in his case, but there’s not enough fraud and cheating they can do to stop this tidal wave that’s happening because they are not going to have the turnout, they can’t cheat enough to keep it secret. They would have to cheat to the point that everybody would notice it.

CALLER: Okay.

RUSH: This is going to be huge.

CALLER: Okay, well I just know — like the Black Panthers — overall we really need to think about this because, you know, we’re sending Jimmy Carter overseas to monitor elections.

RUSH: Right.

CALLER: We have people, got it on tape where those Black Panthers were intimidating voters. And our Justice Department won’t prosecute. So overall, long-term, Rush, what can we do to fight against this?

RUSH: Well, that’s what I’m going to say, if you go vote next Tuesday and you run into some cheating, call the New Black Panthers. You know, call them and report the problem. Because we’ve learned now that this administration will look the other way when this bunch helps people cheat.

CALLER: It’s just so frustrating. I thought maybe, you know, you had something else up your sleeve. But we’ll come out en masse. I’m rallying people.

RUSH: Well, what were you hoping — honestly, now — what were you hoping would be my retort to the —

CALLER: I don’t know.

RUSH: — promised fraud of the SEIU?

CALLER: Some super slick strategy. I don’t know. It’s when you have people —

RUSH: You don’t need super slick. You just need turnout. Flood the zone.

CALLER: Okay. How about a little prayer, too?

RUSH: Flood the zone. If you flood the zone out there, there’s no way they can cheat enough to beat you. That’s my point.

CALLER: Okay. So then tell people even here in my liberal Bay Area where they might go wobbly and get depressed that we can do it and I think a lot of prayer might help, too.

RUSH: Are you running into some liberals that want to vote against George Miller?

CALLER: No, actually it’s pretty funny. All you have to do is talk about the economy, and I say it’s not a Democrat or a liberal thing. I’m worried about the economy. I drag my little ten-year-old with me and I point to her, and I say, ‘You know what? Somebody is going to have to pay, and it’s her. She’s going to be indebted —

RUSH: Right.

CALLER: — to the Chinese because of all this spending,’ and I tell them about the debt being quadrupled just since he’s taken office, it’s gone up how much?

RUSH: Right.

CALLER: Who will pay for it? And I confronted George Miller after this debate, and, you know, I kind of baited him, I let him think I was on his side because I born right here in his hometown —

RUSH: What did the walrus say?

CALLER: Oh, my gosh. He was proud of his record. You were saying earlier that they don’t have anything to be proud of. Now, he never mentioned Obama, Pelosi, or Reid or their agenda but he wanted to let me know how much bacon he brought home here and, you know, my husband’s business has been off 40%. He works on straight commission. And I said, ‘My family cannot sustain this.’ He sells auto and home owners insurance, and he came up with Cash for Clunkers. And that didn’t make a dent in my husband’s business, and it shouldn’t. But, you know, it was crazy. And then once he figured out I was on the other side of the issues, he got very angry.

RUSH: That’s right, you’re the enemy.

CALLER: Very arrogant. Yes. And all of a sudden he tried to walk away from me twice, and I just kept coming back at him.

RUSH: All you have to take away from it, once he found out who you are, he knew that there was no way that he could talk to you man to man, woman to woman, whatever, and tell you, ‘No, ma’am, you misunderstand, here are all the great things that we’ve done, here are the wonderful things I have done the past two –‘ he couldn’t do that. He has to run away from you. Flood the zone, just flood the zone. Every district next Tuesday flood the zone and get some people dressed up as New Black Panthers and take ’em with you. Not inside, just take ’em with you. See what happens. You never know.
