I know better than to listen to the ‘lamestream media,’ but I’m doing it, and I’m starting to freak out because I’m starting to see… (sigh) From the Real Clear average polling I’m starting to see things tighten up, and I mean tight, tight, tight and I’m wondering, did the…?
RUSH: Like where?
CALLER: Pennsylvania for one.
RUSH: Don’t believe that poll. You talking about Toomey and Sestak?
CALLER: Well, that’s just one.
RUSH: Don’t believe that poll. That’s a 10-point race. That’s a t10- or 12- point race for Toomey. Don’t believe that poll.
CALLER: Okay. I’m seeing… I’m just looking at averages of lots of polls.
RUSH: Don’t believe the poll. These polls are designed for two things, fundraising for the Democrats and they’re trying to spur turnout. Remember, who’s doing the polls? These polls are not reflecting public opinion, they’re trying to shape it.
CALLER: Well, that’s what I believe, too, and I needed to hear you say it and I think America needed to hear you say it because we’re — I think that some of us, I know myself —
RUSH: There’s no energy out there on the Democrat. There’s no energy on the Democrat side. Just make sure you vote. Conservatives are gonna vote. That’s why Reverse Operation Chaos. Give the Democrats a reason to show up, to protect their party — well, not show up. Stay away. Look, further evidence of this, your question about the polls, this is from Warner Todd Huston. The AP has a story from October 21st (that’s yesterday) that features the news that Democrats in Maryland are turning out in bigger numbers for early voting than Republicans, and we’re seeing stories like this all over the country. This is not true. In this case, according to the Maryland State Board of Elections, early voting in Maryland doesn’t even start until today. So there hasn’t been any early voting in Maryland, certainly not any early voting that’d be featuring the news that Democrats are turning out in bigger numbers than Republicans because early voting hasn’t started in Maryland. Now, it might be worth your while to believe all the polls. Be frightened. Get all your friends out there and your family and get out there to vote and also push Reverse Operation Chaos. If you’re a Republican, vote as your life depends on it. If you’re a Democrat, don’t vote because Hillary depends on it.
