RUSH: Governor Christie Monday in Trenton had this to say about the mosque business.

CHRISTIE: We cannot paint all of Islam with that brush. We can’t paint all of Islam with the Mohammed Atta brush. We have to bring people together, and what offends me the most about all this is that it’s being used as a political football, by both parties. I’m not getting into it because then I would be guilty of the same thing that I think some Republicans are guilty of and the president is now guilty of playing politics with this issue. I’m simply not going to do it.

RUSH: But he did. Governor Christie, we’re not painting all of Islam with a terrorist brush. What’s being attempted here is to paint the terrorist brush with the peaceful Islam. That’s what’s being attempted here.
