Marie Antoinette or Eva Peron?

by Rush Limbaugh - Aug 16,2010

RUSH: New Orleans. David. Welcome to the Rush Limbaugh program. Great to have you here.

CALLER: Hey, Rush, oil-less dittos from New Orleans.

RUSH: Thank you very much, sir.

CALLER: Rush, Michelle Obama reminds me a lot less of Marie Antoinette who was totally clueless about the suffering of the people of France. She reminds me a lot more of Eva Peron, who knew how to cover herself while she spent her country blind. Eva Peron, if you recall… Does the foundation Eva Peron ring a bell to you?

RUSH: Yeah, yeah, of course, Madonna.

CALLER: Right. It was like a foundation that Peron set up —

RUSH: Right.

CALLER: — to help the poor people of —

RUSH: Right. Oh, yeah.

CALLER: — Argentina while she proceeded to live a life of luxury on their dime.

RUSH: Right. Exactly. She and Juan Peron made out like bandits.

CALLER: Yeah. I’m thinking of Michelle ‘Peron’ Obama. And just one more thing, too, Rush. If we have full disclosure — if the liberals want full disclosure — of campaign contributions from corporate contributors, those are the same people who say we should have no disclosure from mosque contributors. I find that to be really hypocritical.

RUSH: Well, hypocritical is what they are. Good catch out there, David. I appreciate it.
