RUSH: Chicago, this is Hans. Great to have you on the EIB Network. Hello.
CALLER: Hi, Rush, pleasure to speak with you.
RUSH: Thank you very much.
CALLER: I had a question, and I don’t see any coverage in the press. Michelle Obama, the First Lady of the regime is in Spain with her entourage. I find it fascinating that they couldn’t find a spot in the United States to go to spend all this money on their vacation and I can’t believe that the SEIU isn’t complaining because think of all of the hotel staff that would have gotten tips and been employed and all the wonderful things they could have done with all of the money that they’re spending.
RUSH: It’s an interesting observation, frankly one I hadn’t thought of because I’m more interested in the fact that while everybody in this country’s tightening their belt, some cannot find work, we are being preached to and people are being told it’s Bush’s fault while Mrs. Obama’s doing a Marie Antoinette impersonation. Sixty rooms, 40 people, 2500 bucks a night.
CALLER: But think of the economic stimulus that would have been here in the United States.
RUSH: That’s true, very true. They probably couldn’t find anything suitable for their tastes in the United States. Or, more importantly, you are probably not going to see a lot of media about this. They didn’t want to be seen in the United States living this extravagantly.
CALLER: Ah.
RUSH: That’s probably your answer.
CALLER: It’s really amazing.
RUSH: Hans, thanks for the call.
