MAUDE: I wanted to ask you about Elton John performed for Rush Limbaugh at his wedding. Did you know that?

ETHERIDGE: I did not know that.

MAUDE: Yes!

ETHERIDGE: Did Rush ask him?

MAUDE: Yeah! He paid him a million dollars.

ETHERIDGE: Oh, well. I… Hello! Rush, call me.

RUSH: They can’t get over this. ‘Rush, call me.’ She wants me to call. By the way, I don’t know how to go after this. I’m just going to let it lie. I’ll let it lie. (interruption) Who, Melissa Etheridge? No, because I frankly don’t plan on having another wedding, Snerdley. No, I’m not gonna call. ‘Rush, call me.’ No. No, Snerdley. I’m not going to call. Not gonna call. You know, people are increasingly, every day, asking, ‘Are you going to put any pictures on your website?’ We originally were not going to do it. (interruption) What, Dawn? Yeah, I know. We didn’t do this for the publicity of it. We didn’t do this to make a circus of it. Everybody’s asking. I got the first batch — we got the first batch — of pictures last week. There are about 6,000 of them, and I’m telling you, they are art. I’m stunned.

Donna Newman was the photographer, and I’m looking at these, and I said, ‘Kathryn, we gotta put some of these out. These are just too good.’ So we’re going to. We just haven’t decided where. But we’re gonna do it. We’re going to put some pictures out, plus with Elton. There are some really cool ones with us with Elton, and of Elton on stage performing and of the crowd going nuts over Elton and pictures of Elton while he’s just having the time of his life, good times. Yeah, we’re going to do that. It’s imminent, but I don’t know when. It will be as soon as possible. We’ve gotta get all of them in here and pick the ones that they want to do and go from there. People magazine’s asking. That’s weird. (interruption) What? No, no, no, they’re not offering anything. USA Today asked, too. I don’t think they’re offering anything. They may have. I don’t know. I was just told this morning that they’ve expressed some interest. Maybe they have, I don’t know. I don’t deal with the minutia. The big decision is whether to release them and where, and of course my website’s the first place to do so.
