RUSH: Jan in Melbourne, Florida. Glad you called. You’re next on the EIB Network. Hello.
CALLER: Hey, Rush, it’s an honor. I just want to say that, once again, the far left and the Bamster have succeeded in destroying another private citizen. It’s Carrie Prejean, I think. I’m not into pornography. I cannot stand that. I’m a Christian. Nor do I watch the beauty pageants. But I saw the following day. I liked her answer, and she actually stood up in front of Americans, what she believed in, and that idiot had no right to even ask it. She wasn’t running for Congress or anything or any kind of other political thing, so… It’s just pretty sad that you can’t speak your mind. Anybody that comes out, they just destroy them, discredit them, anything they can do. So what do you have to say about that?
RUSH: Well, I think it’s been going on a long time. I think this is standard operating procedure for the left: ‘Don’t debate opponents; destroy them. Credibility, reputation, image, or life.’ It’s what they’re all about. Carrie Prejean simply offered her opinion on gay marriage and said, ‘My opinion is founded in the Bible.’ Oh, no! You can’t say the Bible,’ and so it’s time to destroy her. The left is on the march, folks, plain and simple.
