An ardent disciple of The Messiah, Lord Barack Obama The Most Merciful, wanted to serve his master –but the excrement hit the fan, so to speak.

Kent Higgins, a chaplain at the University of Massachusetts Amherst campus, sent students this e-mail message: “If you’re scared about the prospects for this election, you’re not alone. The most important way to make a difference in the outcome is to activate yourself. It would be just fine with McCain if Obama supporters…sleep in and stay home between now and Election Day.” Chaplain Higgins then told students that if they canvassed, found other supporters, or volunteered for Lord Obama,a “sponsor” in the University’s history department would reward themwith course credits.

When questioned about the plan, the University threw the chaplain under the bus– since his plan violates University policy and might even violate state ethics laws. The chair-babe of the history department, Audrey Alstadt, told AP: “We do not engage in or sponsor partisan political activity, [and] we certainly do not give academic credit for participation in partisan politics.” That is a laugh;a liberal university– in the heart of liberal land– that’s politically neutral! That’s a first!

Lord Obama’s disciple, Chaplain Kent Higgens, is now disavowing his own e-mail.He claims he never intended his plan to only include Obama supporters(and believing that certainly does take faith).

I guess, Chaplain, you’ll just have to figure out how to offer service to your master some other way — why don’t you pray on it?
