RUSH: Tony in Bremerton, Washington, thank you for waiting and you’re next.

CALLER: Hey, Rush, longtime listener and all that good stuff. Love your show. Look, the other day, last night, I was switching through the channels. I was on the All-Barack channel, switched over to the Nothing-But-Barack channel, kind of slid by all the other good Barack channels, and I got to CNN, and old Charles Barkley was on the air. He’s talking, and I like Charles Barkley, so I’m listening to what he says. He’s gotta make sure to tell everybody he’s an independent, right? But at the same time he’s spouting the same old played out, old time I-am-so-sick-and-tired-of-it Democratic line. He’s like, ‘Well, you know, if I ever run for governor of Alabama, well, I would definitely run as a Democrat, because you know the Democrats care about poor people and the Republicans –‘ you know, and I’m like, ‘Is this guy for real?’

RUSH: No. No. Charles Barkley, if he runs for governor, is going to do it in Alabama. Charles Barkley knows that black Republicans get savaged, like Clarence Thomas and Thomas Sowell and Walter Williams. He won’t have a chance with the Republican Party if he really wants to get elected. You also are making a huge error and a vast, vast over-assumption of the IQ of Chuck.

CALLER: Yes, sir.

RUSH: Yes. Thanks very much.
