Unless you are a political junkie, I doubt you’re familiar with the name Richard Danzig. He served as Bill Clinton’s Naval Secretary, and now he’s a top aide to Obama– poised to become his National Security Adviser. (Some “change”, eh?)

Anyway, speaking before the Center for New American Security, Danzig gave a hint of the kind of change our enemies can expect should Obama win the whole thing.According to Danzig, future American strategy to fight the war on terrorism should follow lessons gleaned from Winnie the Pooh.

You heard right.

“Winnie the Pooh seems to me to be a fundamental text on national security,” said Danzig. He said the US military should understand that terrorists really want to emulate superheroes like Luke Skywalker.

The man who could be President Obama’s National Security Adviser read this excerpt from Winnie the Pooh to the audience: “Here is Edward Bear, coming downstairs now, bump, bump, bump on the back of his head behind Christopher Robin. It is, as far as he knows, the only way of coming down stairs. But sometimes he thinks there really is another way if only he could stop bumping a minute and think about it.”

Now, if the logic escapes you here, this is all about the need to “change.” And to hope.

There’s a lot I could say about Barack Obama and the team of idiots he’s assembling to defend our security interests, but it can be summed up in very few words:If Obamawins, we are in deep Pooh — and that ain’t no “change”.
