CALLER: Hi, Rush, how are you today?
RUSH: Fine. Thank you.
CALLER: Hey, you know, earlier this week I heard a little bit about the UN investigation of the US for human rights violations.
RUSH: It’s not human rights violations; it’s racism.
CALLER: Yes. But they’re calling it human rights violations.
RUSH: Well, they’re here to investigate racism because of the Obama campaign.
CALLER: Right. Right. I think it’s kind of a reverse racism thing, if you ask me.
RUSH: You seem to be taking this rather mildly.
CALLER: (laughing) Well I just think it’s absolutely ridiculous. I think we should pull out of the UN.
RUSH: Exactly right, but before we pull out of the UN we kick this guy out.
CALLER: Right.
RUSH: What the hell right do they have to come examine racism here when racism is rampant all over the globe? This is just more of the never-ending onslaught from every angle you can think of on this country because we are the world superpower, and what’s really dangerous about this is that you have an absolute loco weed like Barack Obama who, if he’s ever in the Oval Office, will welcome this kind of stuff and actually say, ‘Don’t worry about it, UN, I’m going to handle this myself. We’re going to prove this is a racist country, and I’ll just use my campaign as evidence.’ You want to know about real racism and xenophobia, Thomas Lifson at the AmericanThinker.com: ‘To the Left, America is irredeemably racist, and those who want our border protected are xenophobes.’ As Obama called me last night in my own state. He called me a xenophobe! For those of you in Rio Linda, don’t look it up because you won’t find it in the Z’s. (laughing)
‘The insanity of these claims is evidenced by what real racism and xenophobia look like. In black-led South Africa, a country that is held to be the embodiment of the triumph of a victory over racism, no less. We have already covered the horrific racial violence (black on black) directed toward South African immigrants, but after almost two weeks running, it is spreading, according to this report from [the French News Agency]: ‘A wave of anti-immigrant violence in South Africa spread to Cape Town on Friday, even as troops and police appeared to have quelled the unrest in the hot spot of Johannesburg. Police reported attacks against immigrants and foreign-owned shops in a slum area of picturesque Cape Town. … Police also reported pockets of overnight unrest in Durban in the KwaZulu Natal region, where an unidentified foreigner was shot, and in North West province where two Pakistanis were stabbed.’ Now, this is real xenophobia. This is real racism — black-on-black crime, South Africa. And this of course is held out as one of the great triumphs of the world. This is where the UN needs to send their little investigator.
