Hey, folks: Clinton, Inc. is at it again — this time via Pennsylvania’s Democrat governor “Fast Eddie” Rendell, who’s a huge cog in the Hillary machine. Obviously on cue,Fast Eddiecame out and announced that some white Pennsylvanians won’t vote for Barack Obama– because they’re racist.

Now, Fast Eddiewas talking tothe editorial board of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette; he told them that there are “conservative whites” in his state “who are probably not ready to vote for an African-American candidate.” And to back up his assertion, Fast Eddie cited his own election victory over Lynn Swann, the former Pittsburgh Steeler, who’s black. Fast Eddie said: “I believe, looking at the returns in my election, that had Lynn Swann been the identical candidate that he was– well-spoken, charismatic, good-looking– but white instead of black, instead of winning by 22 points, I would have won by 17 or so…and that [attitude] exists[.]”

This is a fast one, folks. When he says “conservative whites,” he’s nottalking about Republicans — they’re not voting in the Democrat primary. No, no, no: the governor of this blue state is saying his fellow white Democrats harbor racist attitudes. He’s actually telling them not to vote Obama; that’s his real message.

Now, aspokesman was sent out later to say that Fast Eddie’sremarks were just an “observation about the unfortunate nature of some parts of American society,”andhe wasn’t trying to offend anybody,he was just being “realistic.”

Nice try, Fast Eddie. This wasn’t an “observation”; it was a “whites-only” invitation. And you guys wonder why Hillary is getting her clock cleaned?
