RUSH: All right, there’s not enough time to be fair with phone calls here, but we certainly have time to revisit Joseph Biden’s comment back on January 30th this year. It was an interview with The Observer on Senator Barack Obama.
BIDEN: I mean, you got the first sort of mainstream African-American who is articulate and bright and — and clean and a nice-looking guy.
RUSH: This is where the whole ‘Magic Negro’ stuff started with the Reverend Sharpton, because he doesn’t think he stinks. He took a shower every day. ‘You got the first mainstream African-American who is articulate and bright and clean and a nice-looking guy.’
Guess who has come out and said that Joe Biden’s wrong? Mrs. Obama! ‘In an interview with Glamour magazine, Michelle Obama reveals that her husband, Barack, is so ‘snore-y and stinky’ when he wakes up in the morning that their daughters won’t crawl into bed with him.’ Now, a lot of people are saying the Clintons have to be behind this, but I don’t think so, folks. I don’t know how the Clintons could be behind this. I know they’re trying to humanize Barack Obama, but is this wise? This is more than we want to know, isn’t it? It is.
