CNN obtained 10 pages from the nearly 50-page document, which tells Breck Girl campaign captains in Iowa precincts to describe Howard Dean as an elitist from Park Avenue in New York City. It says that John Kerry of Massachusetts can’t claim to change America because he’s been part of the failed Washington politics for too long.
Edwards told reporters in New Hampshire, he didn’t know about the book. “I found out about it tonight for the first time, and I take full responsibility for anything that happened in my campaign. That’s wrong, and I’ve given them instructions it’s not to ever happen again.” This is total caca. If Edwards were a Republican, this would be a front page headline. The media wouldn’t be letting it go, it would be investigating.
The question ought to be, “You don’t even know what’s going on in your own campaign and you’re being credited as a savior for this party? Your whole 50-page book is on all the negative characteristics of your opponents, and you don’t even know about it? And you claim the Washington establishment is unqualified? You’ve got a campaign out there freelancing, and you don’t even know about it, and you tell us you want to be president?” Where are those kinds of questions? They don’t exist!
The book also savages poor Little Dick Gephardt, who was only trying to save these clowns in the Democratic Party from themselves. It gets worse for Edwards too. Drudge has a report about the Breck Girl’s flip-flop on Social Security privatization. Edwards is supposed to be the genuine, uplifting, positive Democrat in the race, and now we see he’s just a phony baloney, plastic-banana, good-time rock ‘n’ roller who spends three hours a day on his hair.
