Hi Rush!
I have been listening to you since 1990 and you have and still are an inspiration to me by the kind of person you are. I know you are going through a very difficult time and I just want to let you know that you have always been in my prayers because you truly do have talent on loan from God and your work is important to the American people. Last year I went through a very difficult time in my life and a friend sent me something by e-mail and I am sending it to you.
?Friends are quiet angels who lift us to our feet when our wings have trouble remembering how to fly.?
I feel as if we are friends even though I have never had the opportunity to meet you face to face. I pray that God gives you the strength each and every day for the rest of your life to deal with this problem you are facing.
Sandy
Rush,
We are longtime listeners and we support you and Marta 100%. This little prayer says a lot: “Help me to remember, Lord, that nothing’s gonna happen today that You and I can’t handle together.” Anyone that has lived with chronic pain can fully understand how this can happen, and we pray for you and your recovery. Because of you seeking help, maybe many others in the same circumstances will follow your example and seek help for themselves, too. We love you Rush and know you will be well soon. We will be waiting to hear your voice again over the EIB Golden Microphone and know you will be stronger and even better, if that’s possible!

Dear Rush:
Every day at lunchtime, I grab a salad, park my car, and soak up all the knowledge and positive thinking that proceeds from your lips. I thank God every day that I have the opportunity to listen to you, and I look forward to hearing you again soon. I have to tell you that I am getting better every day at being a professional (I?m a lawyer) and an athlete (I play tennis) because I listen to you. I can?t thank you enough.

Rush,
Regardless of the present situation, you’re still right (as in correct). My prayers are with you and I hope this rehab takes.

Rush,
You were instrumental in major changes for the better in my life. Forget the details, just know that I will always love and support you in your fight for truth and right.

Dear Rush,
I am a legal assistant and mother of five. Your refreshingly direct statements of truth with humor have sustained me on many a long drive to pick up children and run errands… and lonely lunchtime munching. My kids know you like a member of the family. We know that family members sometimes have severe challenges and that’s what family is for. When you need prayer and encouragement, we are here for you. With God’s help, you can do it.
Blessings and dittos,
Jane
Rush,
I have been trying to think of a way that I could really let you know that I care and trust in you, and I am doing that by getting a 2 year subscription to 24/7. I am confident that you are going to be back leading us in a very short while. There are many folks out here that are praying for your complete recovery and can’t wait until you are back on the radio. I am so sorry about your problem, but you are man enough to handle it, especially with God’s help. Thanks for being there for me so much in the past. I love you like you were my brother. And I have complete confidence in you and your integrity. Hang in there.
Love You,
Roy
Rush – you’re sometimes the only voice of reason I hear during the day – and it so helps to know you’re out there spreading the word according to those of us who are so tired of listening to the liberal viewpoints on almost every channel and talk show. Forget what the dems say about not having a spokesperson – they’ve got all the major networks – there’s only one Rush Limbaugh.
Hurry and get better and get back where you belong. All your loyal fans are behind you and we pray for you during this trying time. You’ve got the fortitude to pull this off – you can do it!

Being a “Dittohead” has been a lot easier in the later years than it was at the beginning, though I enjoyed listening, quoting and learning from Rush in ’88 as much as I do in ’03. Being a “Dittohead” will continue to be a hallmark for my life.

Rush,
My family and I are praying for you recovery. We think no less of you, but have an even greater respect for you. I wish there was a way we could help you in this fight. We will continue to listen in your absence. Take as long as necessary to get healthy, we will be waiting patiently.

Rush,
I am praying for you to once and for all defeat this demon. As usual, you are an inspiration to face your problem, put it on the table, admit it, deal with it, defeat it and move on!!!! May God bless and keep you.

We’re behind you Rush!!
About ten years ago I first started listening to you and appreciated your candor, your honesty, and knowing there was SOMEBODY in the media that had the same core values that I did. More importantly, you helped bring politics into understandable terms for those of us that don’t have a political science degree. I actually started paying more attention to what was happening in the world around me. I appreciate you opening my eyes to that!
As far as the drug problem you’re going through, my brother-in-law is going through the exact same thing for much the same reason (his back). His only problem is that he hasn’t gotten to the point of asking for help in a rehab program. Good luck Rush! My prayers are with you!

Rush:
I’ve listen to you since 1991 and I can’t tell you how much I’ve enjoyed your program. I appreciate what you have done for our county and I’m looking forward to your return. Rush you have inspired and encouraged a nation and the least that I can do is to write to you and tell you that I will be praying for you and Marta. I look forward to your return
All the best,
Greg
Rush,
I am praying for you daily, and if this tidbit will help you kick your habit, go for it – Associate drugs with Hillary Clinton and the Commie-Lib’s. Every time you indulge, you become a little more like them. That thought alone should get you through. After all, Liberals and drugs are the downfall of our society. You have what it takes to beat this, stay strong and know you are special.
Doree
Dear Rush and staff,
My prayers are with you during the trials you are presently facing. I still have tremendous respect for you and what you represent to us conservatives that had no voice until you came along. I have not changed my high opinion of you and I will continue to listen to your program during your absence because, your guest hosts are part of the extended family that we have become.
I have learned so much from you and owe you a debt of gratitude. No doubt, when you overcome all of this, you will find that the suffering you have undergone and the suffering that lies ahead is never in vain. It is how God purifies the soul, strengthens our will, enlightens us with more wisdom and how God sanctifies us. Since you had the privilege of seeing Mel Gibson’s “The Passion”… remember Him in the midst of your agony. He will walk this journey with you and carry you when it becomes so overwhelming. You are not alone and the love of your friends and family is far greater than those who call themselves your enemy. As for the liberals…they will NOT win this one. Their ugliness and hatred is rooted in one source and his name is Legion and Christ is already victorious over him.
I have already contacted my radio station and made my support clear and expressed my intentions to continue listening to your program during your absence.
In union with Christ,
Victoria

You can do this Rush!
You have been there for us all these years and now it is our turn to be there for you. We will be there to support your recovery in any way we can. In a family you hang together even tighter when things get tough and that is what we will do. That is what real friends and love is all about, and you helped teach us that. Hang in there friend.

Rush,
You?ve told us that your talent is ?on loan from God.? In other words, you are one of His children, just like the rest of us. I don?t ever remember that you claimed to be perfect. I only remember that you claimed to be the best at what you do. And so you are. Get well, hurry back and God bless.

Dear Rush,
Thank you for being the man of character that you are and standing up, once again, to do the right thing no matter how hard it was. You are a hero to me because you speak the truth in a world full of lies and hypocrisy. Some days listening to your show was the only part of my day that made me smile. I’ll miss hearing you while you are away, but I will be listening and supporting my local station during your absence. I am praying for you during this difficult time.
God Bless,
Denise

Rush,
I just thought about the 10’s of millions of people praying for you.
With God on your side; you cannot lose. You are a Class Act Rush.
