\nRUSH: Well, before I do that, what is your… Well, I don\u2019t know if it\u2019s “fear.” What alarms you? Do you not trust the government telling you that your kid must be vaccinated for whatever it is?<\/p>\n
RUSH: This is Jessica in North Port, Florida. Welcome to the program. Great to have you here. Hi.<\/p>\n
CALLER: Hi, Rush. Thank you for taking my call.<\/p>\n
RUSH: You bet.<\/p>\n
CALLER: I never thought I\u2019d be talking to you about this issue. I know it\u2019s a very controversial issue. I want to talk about vaccines, not about the safety or the controversy surrounding autism. I want to talk about what\u2019s been in the news recently, and it\u2019s very concerning to parents like myself about mandatory vaccines and parental rights. In Maryland, recently a judge ordered every unvaccinated family in a district to be vaccinated by Friday otherwise they could go to jail. This is a place that has philosophical and religious exemptions and parents had to show up and prove their religious exemption, prove themselves. This is also happening in New York and California. It\u2019s really troubling to me, and I sincerely would like to know your feelings.<\/p>\n
\nRUSH: Well, before I do that, what is your… Well, I don\u2019t know if it\u2019s “fear.” What alarms you? Do you not trust the government telling you that your kid must be vaccinated for whatever it is?<\/p>\n
CALLER: No, because I feel that the government is too heavily in bed with the pharmaceutical companies which are most definitely making a profit from our bloated vaccine schedule, and please keep in mind I\u2019m a partial-vaccinating parent. I have two special needs adopted children, so I am very cautious in what I choose to administer to them.<\/p>\n
RUSH: But yet you don\u2019t have a choice? You\u2019re being told you have to do this or you could go to jail?<\/p>\n
CALLER: Yes. It\u2019s spreading across the country. There\u2019s several states now where CPS is being called on lovely families that have no business being involved in that sort of system because they choose not to vaccine or they refuse the hepatitis B shot on the first day of birth.<\/p>\n
RUSH: Well, what are your options? I mean, if you don\u2019t do it, who will know?<\/p>\n
CALLER: Well, I was kicked out of a doctor\u2019s office after my daughter had open heart surgery and she wanted to administer six vaccines in one day to catch her up after open heart surgery. The doctor kicked me out, sent me a certified letter, and I was genuinely afraid she was going to call CPS because I had heard she\u2019d done it on another family, and thankfully she did not. My rights in Florida are I can claim a religious exemption, but what about families who aren\u2019t religious and what about philosophical exemption?<\/p>\n
RUSH: Well, I know. It\u2019s happening everywhere. New York City now has mandatory flu vaccines every year for six months to six years old, and six-year-olds attending day care and preschool. It\u2019s all rooted in this belief that you are not qualified, you\u2019re not capable of protecting your children. Only the government knows best. These people that can\u2019t do anything right. They can\u2019t run the health care system. They can\u2019t do anything. They know better how to protect your kid from disease than you do, and they want to exercise this control over you. I saw a report the other day that hospital systems are now required to have a 90% or higher flu-shot reception rate among their staff or they lose up to 2% of their funding of Medicare and Medicaid.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Exactly. School districts lose their funding if their student body isn\u2019t up to date. Yeah.<\/p>\n
RUSH: You know, vaccines happens to be your cause, but it\u2019s happening to everybody\u2019s freedom in virtually every walk of life. New York City or the LA City Council, I forget which, one of the two, just banned e-cigarettes. It\u2019s water vapor! They just banned them. They just made them illegal to use in public. It\u2019s water vapor. There\u2019s not one element of tobacco, there\u2019s not one carcinogen in these things. And because it looks like cigarettes, and it “glorifies” it.<\/p>\n
So whether it\u2019s vaccines or whatever, Jessica, I hate to say this is probably not answer you\u2019re looking for. This is what you get when you get liberals who think they know better, who think you don\u2019t know how to raise your kids and who think everybody should have to follow their dictates in order for us to have a uniform society and a uniform culture. And I just wish more people would see this and learn from it andbe able to identify who these kinds of people are before they go vote.<\/p>\n

RUSH: You know, folks, if you just stop and think about it… You don\u2019t have to think about it. You know it\u2019s happening, which is why you\u2019re so agitated. Choice is being taken away in big gulps. Look at the choices you no longer have in health care alone. You used to have massive amounts of choice in any number of walks of life, and they\u2019re evaporating left and right in favor of mandated controls from the government.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
