CALLER: Hello. Mega dittos, Rush.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Thank you, sir, very much.<\/p>\n

CALLER: I want to talk to you about the “Unaffordable” Care Act real quick.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Yeah?<\/p>\n

CALLER: When the president goes out and says, “Don\u2019t get cable TV and get rid of your cell phones<\/a>,” I\u2019ve already done that. I\u2019ve done that for two years. The only reason I have a cell phone is because my wife and I own a small business. Let me just illustrate how the “Unaffordable” Care Act would impact us. Currently my family pays just over $200 a month for full coverage for health care, a $1500-a-year catastrophe cap, $5 medication copay, and a $25 office visit copay.<\/line><\/p>\n

RUSH: This is just —<\/p>\n

CALLER: By going out and getting Obamacare, my premium goes to over $900 a month; a $6,000 per-person, per-year catastrophic cap; $25 medication copay, and a $50 office copay. How is that affordable?<\/p>\n

RUSH: It isn\u2019t. And I\u2019ll tell you what burns me about it. Here you have in this country really decent, hardworking people, and Democrats are making it impossible to even keep up. They\u2019re making it impossible to have any hope of economic improvement or advancement. And these people haven\u2019t done anything to deserve this, unless they voted for Obama. They haven\u2019t done a thing to warrant this kind of punitive action against them. <\/p>\n

Many of them are just unsuspecting, and unfailingly trustful in government as a benevolent, wants-to-do-the-best-for-everybody institution. It just breaks me apart when I hear about these horror stories. They\u2019re all over the place, and we all only get one life, and these people are making it so damn difficult for everybody that\u2019s working. The people working and producing are the ones that get the excrement sandwich with this bunch of people. <\/p>\n

They\u2019re the enemy. They\u2019re the suspects. They\u2019re the ones “not paying their fair share” or whatever the hell is it these people say about them. They\u2019re the targets. They\u2019re blamed for all the things that have gone wrong in the country. It just burns me up, folks. It literally burns me up. And then add to that these people get away with being thought of as the ones who have all the compassion, and they\u2019re the ones who care about people like me and all that rotgut?<\/p>\n

It is terribly wrong.<\/p>\n
