RUSH: Laurie in Indianapolis. Hi. I\u2019m glad you waited. Welcome to the EIB Network. Hello.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Hi, Rush. I just wanted to call and let you know that my husband and I attended the Cincinnati homeschool convention and we went to go hear Dr. Carson speak. And we were surprised and delighted at the graciousness of you and your wife of giving us the Rush Revere book<\/a>.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Oh, yeah, we kind of did this under the radar. There was a big homeschool convention in Cincinnati over the weekend, and we got in touch with the people there, and they graciously let us help. We wanted to give books. Saturday night was the appearance of Dr. Carson, and we wanted to put a copy of the book on every seat. It\u2019s just something to do, and the homeschool people were just great. So I\u2019m glad you got yours.<\/p>\n

<\/a>CALLER: Oh, we were thrilled. Everybody there was just excited and excited about the message that you gave us and it just was wonderful. It just topped off like the cherry on the top of the evening.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Well, that\u2019s \u2019cause it was a total surprise. You had no idea.<\/p>\n

CALLER: No. No, not at all.<\/p>\n

RUSH: It was just a two-minute video, just little two-minute video before Dr. Carson. Was he not great, by the way?<\/p>\n

CALLER: Oh, he was fabulous. Yes. I was so impressed with him, yes.<\/p>\n

RUSH: You all have a great organization, by the way. <\/p>\n

CALLER: Oh, well, thank you.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Well, you all are doing the Lord\u2019s work — you really are — which is why, you know, we\u2019ve had a lot of homeschool people who have told us that they loved the Rush Revere books<\/a>.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Oh, well, see, my oldest son is a history nut. My husband\u2019s been wanting to buy the book and we just haven\u2019t had the money and was kind of just such a wonderful surprise to get the book then.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Well, how about that?<\/p>\n

CALLER: Yeah.<\/p>\n

RUSH: I worked out even great.<\/p>\n

CALLER: He got home yesterday and started reading it immediately.<\/p>\n

RUSH: What was the book? You got the second one? You probably don\u2019t have the second one.<\/p>\n

CALLER: No.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Well, let me take care of that.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Thank you.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Yeah, yeah.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Thank you.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Now, you\u2019ve gotta —<\/p>\n

CALLER: That is so sweet. <\/p>\n

RUSH: I know; yeah, I know. I am that way. But keep it secret.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Okay, we will.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Just between us. But, yeah, you\u2019ve gotta have both, and then you\u2019ve gotta get any others that might happen. <\/p>\n

CALLER: Oh, yeah, I plan on it. Actually, my husband and I both got one so I was planning on giving it around to my homeschool group for other kids to read, too.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Cool.<\/p>\n

CALLER: I haven\u2019t heard you talk much about homeschoolers. So my friends, when I told them that you did this, were very excited about that.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Well, you know, some things we like to do under the radar. Mr. Snerdley snuck your phone call in, in fact. If you must know, we were really grateful that the homeschool people were receptive to the idea, and you\u2019re really so kind and nice to call about it. Look, I\u2019ve gotta run \u2019cause I\u2019m out of time.
