RUSH: That\u2019s right, Trey Gowdy is going to head it up. That\u2019s going to make it work. Boehner just announced a Select Committee, that\u2019s what I\u2019m talking about, to look into Benghazi.<\/a> A House Select Committee to look at what\u2019s going on in Benghazi because the Regime keeps lying about it, and they\u2019re going to put Trey Gowdy in charge of it. That means there will be no BS permitted by any of the witnesses. <\/p>\n

RUSH: Yeah, hey dude, that was like two years ago, dude. Hey, dude, where do we go to get our ambassador back? You know, we have a bunch of kids in this Regime. We have a bunch of kids that probably shave twice a week and if they wanted to grow a beard they couldn\u2019t. They look like vegans. No offense, Snerdley. Really. They\u2019re all pajama boys<\/a>. <\/p>\n

Every damn one of them that\u2019s a spokesman for whatever department, they look like pajama boys. These are the guys that got kicked around in junior high and high school, they\u2019re getting their revenge now. These are the guys that were punked, that were made fun of, laughed at, and now they\u2019re getting their revenge on everybody. Anyway, there I go bringing up something that happened two years ago. What\u2019s wrong with dudes like me and Fox News? <\/line><\/p>\n

RUSH: Dude, where is my ambassador? Where do I go to get my ambassador back? Last night on Special Report with Bret Baier they had a discussion about the Benghazi talking points<\/a> controversy with Former National Security Council spokesman Tommy Vietor, who looks to be about 19. It looks like he and Jay Carney were separated at birth. <\/p>\n

Bret Baier said, “According to the e-mails and the timeline, the CIA circulates new talking points after they\u00c2\u2019ve removed the mention of Al Qaeda, and then at 6:21,” on the day the Benghazi attack is happening, “the White House, you, add a line about the administration warning of September 10th social media reports calling for demonstrations. True?”<\/p>\n

VIETOR: Uhh, I believe so.<\/line><\/p>\n

BAIER: Did you also change “attacks” to “demonstrations” in the talking points?<\/p>\n

VIETOR: Maybe. I don\u00c2\u2019t really remember.<\/p>\n

BAIER: You don\u00c2\u2019t remember?<\/p>\n

VIETOR: Dude, this was like two years ago. We\u00c2\u2019re still talking about the most mundane process.<\/p>\n

BAIER: Dude, it is the thing that everybody is talking about.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Dude, this is only two years ago. We\u2019re still talking about the most mundane process. And Baier said, “Dude, it\u2019s the thing everybody is talking about.” So Vietor goes on and his objective here is to make it look like anybody interested in this is a nut. Anybody who cares about this is an absolute lunatic. “Dude, it was like two years ago. We\u2019re still talking about the most mundane process.” <\/p>\n

So Baier said, “People on the ground testified that they knew where the ambassador was, that they were very military in their precision. It was not guys coming to protest. They had mortars and heavy weapons.” This was a terror attack. It was not protest. It was not because of any sort of video. It was not a protest because of what happened in Cairo. <\/p>\n

VIETOR: I was in the Situation Room that night, okay. And we didn\u2019t know, uhh, where the ambassador was definitively. In fact, there —<\/p>\n

BAIER: Was the president in the Situation Room?<\/p>\n

VIETOR: No. And the fact that your network at one time reported that he watched video feed of the attack as it was ongoing is part of what I think has been —<\/p>\n

BAIER: Okay. Well let me —<\/p>\n

VIETOR: — a pattern of inaccurate —<\/p>\n

BAIER: Let me get to the bottom of it then. Where was the president?<\/p>\n

VIETOR: In the White House.<\/p>\n
