Hi, Lar. It\u2019s great to have you on the program.  Hello.<\/p>\n<p>CALLER:  Hello.  Longtime listener.<\/p>\n<p>RUSH:  Thank you, sir.<\/p>\n<p>CALLER:  I have a problem.  I have a business, and I got my new insurance plan in April, and my insurance went up for my employees by $117,000.  My deductibles went from $2,000 to $5,000.  There\u2019s no way my employees can afford to do that, and I pay 75% of my employees\u2019 premium and they pay 25%.  They pay the first $1,000; I pay the rest.  I have to let employees go to pick up the difference.<\/p>\n<p>RUSH:  Now, let me see if I understand.  You said that what goes up $117,000?<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/live-rush-limbaugh.pantheonsite.io\/?p=9418\"><img id=\"eZObject_90943\" class=\"aligncenter\" align=\"middle\" src=\"https:\/\/live-rush-limbaugh.pantheonsite.io\/wp-content\/uploads\/ObamacareTaxes.jpg\"\/><\/a>CALLER:  My employees\u2019 insurance.<\/p>\n<p>RUSH:  For all of your employees, the total increase to cover them all is an additional $117,000?<\/p>\n<p>CALLER:  That is correct.<\/p>\n<p>RUSH:  That you have to come up with, the business has to come up with?<\/p>\n<p>CALLER:  That\u2019s correct.<\/p>\n<p>RUSH:  And you pay the $1,000 of every employee\u2019s coverage, and they pay the balance?<\/p>\n<p>CALLER:  We pay 75% of our employees\u2019 insurance.  They pay the first $1,000 of the deductable.<\/p>\n<p>RUSH:  Oh, okay.  All right.  And you can\u2019t afford that anymore?<\/p>\n<p>CALLER:  That\u2019s correct.<\/p>\n<p>RUSH:  You can\u2019t afford it.  So you\u2019re gonna have to let some people go in order to afford it.  That\u2019s what you said?<\/p>\n<p>CALLER:  That\u2019s what I\u2019m saying.<\/p>\n<p>RUSH:  Were you given an explanation why? Is the coverage improving?  I mean, what are you getting for this $117,000 increase?<\/p>\n<p>CALLER:  Well, the plan is a little worse than what I had before, and the problem is, the insurance companies blamed it on the Obamacare.<\/p>\n<p>RUSH:  Of course they will, and <a href=\"https:\/\/live-rush-limbaugh.pantheonsite.io\/?p=9418\">Obamacare is blaming it on the insurance companies<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>CALLER:  That\u2019s correct.<\/p>\n<p>RUSH:  And Harry Reid\u2019s blaming it on the Koch Brothers.<\/p>\n<p>CALLER:  (laughing)<\/p>\n<p>RUSH:  And Monica doesn\u2019t know who to blame it on.<\/p>\n<p>CALLER:  Well, I\u2019m very much concerned because I have good employees.<\/p>\n<p>RUSH:  How many employees do you have, Larry?<\/p>\n<p>CALLER:  We have about 70.<\/p>\n<p><img id=\"eZObject_90967\" class=\"aligncenter\" align=\"middle\" src=\"https:\/\/live-rush-limbaugh.pantheonsite.io\/wp-content\/uploads\/ObamacareDoctorSinglePayer.jpg\"\/><BR\/>RUSH:  Seventy employees, and your total nut goes up $117,000, above and beyond what you\u2019re already paying?<\/line><\/p>\n<p>CALLER:  That\u2019s correct.<\/p>\n<p>RUSH:  Just correct me if I\u2019m wrong.  See, a lot of people, Larry, think that since you have a business, that you are rich and that you have drawers of money in the back room or over in the bank. You\u2019ve got lots of money that you\u2019re hoarding for yourself, and it would be easy for you, Larry, to go get $117,000. You just don\u2019t want to take it away from yourself, Larry.<\/p>\n<p>CALLER:  Well, I don\u2019t think that\u2019s correct.  I enjoy what I\u2019m doing.<\/p>\n<p>RUSH:  Well, you would know.  Do you have $170,000 lying around idle?<\/p>\n<p>CALLER:  No, I do not.<\/p>\n<p>RUSH:  That\u2019s what my point is.  You don\u2019t have it.  You\u2019ve got a come up with it somehow because it\u2019s now the law of the land.<\/p>\n<p>CALLER:  I gotta come up with it out of the business.<\/p>\n<p>RUSH:  You like your employees and you don\u2019t like what you\u2019re going to have to do.<\/p>\n<p>CALLER:  That is correct.<\/p>\n<p>RUSH:  What are you gonna tell \u2019em?<\/p>\n<p>CALLER:  Well, you know, we\u2019re probably gonna have some tears but I\u2019m trying to save the other employees\u2019 jobs. It\u2019s a sad situation. <\/p>\n<p>RUSH:  Yeah. How are you gonna choose?<\/p>\n<p>CALLER:  I wish I knew the answer. I\u2019m relying on some Republicans but they don\u2019t seem to care, neither.<\/p>\n<p>RUSH:  Yeah.  Yeah.  Well, so the thing you\u2019ve gotta do is come up with somebody to blame that your employers are gonna believe.  Do you happen to know, Larry, how your employees voted in the last presidential election? Do you know which ones voted for Obama and which ones didn\u2019t?<\/p>\n<p>CALLER:  I do.<\/p>\n<p>RUSH:  Well, get rid of the ones that voted for Obama. Say, &#8220;You bought it; you own it.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>CALLER:  Well, the only problem with that is I\u2019d probably end up in jail.<\/p>\n<p>RUSH:  Yeah.  Yeah.  Well, of course.  (laughing) That may be true.<\/p>\n<p>CALLER:  I already thought of that long ago.<\/p>\n<p>RUSH:  See, this is the way people are thinking now! <\/p>\n<p>CALLER: (chuckling)<\/p>\n<p>RUSH: Okay, well, you could &#8212; Harry Reid\u2019s using it &#8212; try to blame it on the Koch brothers.<\/p>\n<p>CALLER:  Well, I could. It doesn\u2019t help the employees that you\u2019ve gotta let go.<\/p>\n<p>RUSH:  I know.  I\u2019m just trying to lighten the situation here, but I really shouldn\u2019t be.  It\u2019s a horrible situation.  You don\u2019t want to fire anybody.<\/p>\n<p>CALLER:  Right.<\/p>\n<p>RUSH:  You probably need those people and the work that they do.<\/p>\n<p>CALLER:  That\u2019s correct.<\/p>\n<p>RUSH: (sigh) Well, get ready, folks.  I mean, the real onslaught of this stuff hasn\u2019t even begun yet.  That\u2019s the point.  <\/p>\n<p>BREAK TRANSCRIPT<\/p>\n<p>RUSH: Gary, Denver.  Great to have you on the program, sir. Thanks for taking my call.<\/p>\n<p>RUSH:  You bet, sir.<\/p>\n<p><img id=\"eZObject_90982\" class=\"aligncenter\" align=\"middle\" src=\"https:\/\/live-rush-limbaugh.pantheonsite.io\/wp-content\/uploads\/ObamaCAreMissionAccomplished.jpg\"\/><BR\/>CALLER:  So I\u2019ll make this real quick, Rush.  Everybody\u2019s focused on employer mandate being pushed out \u2019til next year, but as we sit here right now, there are small employers that are getting notices from insurance companies canceling them.  And the reason for that is that <a href=\"https:\/\/live-rush-limbaugh.pantheonsite.io\/?p=9423\">Obamacare changes the way that insurance companies and employers<\/a> are being &#8212; within &#8212; sorry, I\u2019m trying to think of the term, but basically last year, I have 10 full time employees, and last year we had four covered by our health insurance and six were covered by their spouses.  We were considered a hundred percent covered at that point in time.  Obamacare now says that we only have 50% or 40% participation, so we\u2019re no longer eligible for our health insurance plan.<\/line><\/p>\n<p>RUSH:  Now, wait.  Are you a business owner? Yeah, you\u2019re an employer.<\/p>\n<p>CALLER:  I am a business owner and an employer.<\/p>\n<p>RUSH:  Right.  And because of the rules changes you are no longer eligible to give a health plan or to get one?<\/p>\n<p>CALLER:  We already have a health plan.  We\u2019ve had it for eight years.  And because of this little nuance in Obamacare, the health insurers, when they audit to find out how many employees &#8212;<\/p>\n<p>RUSH:  Okay, I gotcha.  I\u2019m up against it on time.  I\u2019ve really gotta run.  Gary, thanks.  I appreciate it.  Thanks much.  <\/p>\n<p>BREAK TRANSCRIPT<\/p>\n<p>RUSH: Daytona Beach.  Hello, Bob.  I\u2019ve got about a minute and a half, but I wanted to get to you, sir.<\/p>\n<p>CALLER:  Thanks Rush.  It\u2019s a pleasure talking to you.  I\u2019m 25-year-listener and my father is gonna envy me today.  I want to bounce off the issue about the insurance company, that Kaiser article.  Well, it already happened with my company.  We were pulled into our office in March of this year and were informed that we\u2019re being dropped and we had to go into the Obamacare system.  We\u2019re a company about 15 people, and all our insurance rates basically doubled.<\/p>\n<p>RUSH:  Well, so your company didn\u2019t wait. It just went ahead and did it.<\/p>\n<p>CALLER:  Yes.  We are told that we had to do it. The insurance company came in, gave us the facts. There\u2019s about five different insurance companies that were in the Obamacare exchanges.<\/p>\n<p>RUSH:  Well, did you do okay?  Were you able to get what you got or had at the same price?<\/p>\n<p>CALLER:  No, not me. My premium doubled.<\/p>\n<p>RUSH:  Your premium doubled?<\/p>\n<p>CALLER:  Everything about my insurance doubled, but the coverage didn\u2019t double. (chuckle)<\/p>\n<p>RUSH:  Okay, folks, you\u2019re hearing it.  So his company got a head start on this even though they don\u2019t have to do this until 2014.
