RUSH: This is Ron in Prosper, Texas, welcome to the program. Great to have you here.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Oh, thank you, Rush, for taking my call. I\u2019ve been trying for weeks to get this out. I would like to ask for your help, your research in examining whether that Malaysian Airlines was possibly taken out by some kind of electromagnetic weapon. The reason I\u2019m saying that is this plane didn\u2019t know up, down, left, right. We\u2019ve been told for years that there are weapons — and I think that Chinese or enemies, they could take out our electronic infrastructure by a weapon like that that just takes out your electronics.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Well, what it is, it\u2019s EMP, electromagnetic pulse. It happens to be a naturally occurring part of a nuclear explosion, but when it happens with a nuclear explosion it doesn\u2019t matter \u2019cause everything\u2019s destroyed. So the EMP as a device has been isolated, and it is a weapon, and if it is deployed or employed, an enemy can totally knock out a country\u2019s electrical grid, totally knock out everything that is digital. Wi-Fi, computer, everything, lights, televisions, air-conditioning, electric, can totally eliminate. It is a really, really devastating weapon. I don\u2019t know to what extent it\u2019s been perfected. I don\u2019t know to what extent it\u2019s been used or designed for really targeted, surgically targeted use like just on one airplane. I don\u2019t know nearly enough about how it\u2019s been weaponized. I just know about the tech and what an EMP can do and how devastating it is.<\/line><\/p>\n

CALLER: Well, 20 years ago they were testing laser weapons — I know this for a fact out in Palmdale. And now they\u2019re on naval ships. And that particular plane was out over the ocean —<\/p>\n

RUSH: Well, an EMP could take an airplane out of the sky because it could destroy its electronics.<\/p>\n

<\/a>CALLER: Well, depending on how much energy you throw at it. If they\u2019re just testing it, like a microwave. You could put food in a microwave and you can make it warm, hot, or boiling. So if you\u2019re testing a weapon, you shoot this thing, \u2019cause this plane, for them to make the idea that they\u2019re in this cockpit fighting, cockpits are small. These pilots were blind. I think they had no way to communicate. For them to say that terrorists were taking out the ACARS and taking out the locator system and they couldn\u2019t talk and they didn\u2019t know — one minute their elevation\u2019s changing, they don\u2019t know which way they\u2019re going.<\/p>\n
