RUSH: You know, Mrs. Clinton just continues to step in it. She didn\u2019t do anything recently. It\u2019s just another bit of news from the Ed Klein book, Blood Clot<\/a>, has been revealed. Apparently Hillary was having lunch with some girlfriends up in Chappaqua one day after she had left the State Department. According to the Ed Klein book, all of Hillary\u2019s girlfriends were asking her, “What is Obama really like? ” and she just launched.<\/p>\n

According to the book, she said, “He\u2019s not there half the time. There\u2019s no hand on the tiller of this country. He\u2019s incompetent. He\u2019s a phony.” She made it clear that she has no respect for Obama at all (this is in the Klein book) and she said that they made a deal with Obama that Bill would help Obama in 2012 if Obama would pay them back and help Hillary campaign in 2016.<\/p>\n

Now Obama has basically said he\u2019s not gonna do that, and the Clintons feel betrayed, so she was just unloading on Obama. And this is gonna get out. I mean, I ran across it in the Ed Klein book and others will see it when it\u2019s run across. And the Clintons just can\u2019t pull their foot out of that bucket of excrement regarding their wealth, and people are now covering it.<\/p>\n

I watched some liberals on TV today say, “You know, they need to stop acting embarrassed of their wealth. They\u2019ve earned it. They deserve it. Why don\u2019t they learn how?” I\u2019ll answer the question. They\u2019re obsessed with this notion of trying to convince people that they\u2019re not wealthy because…<\/p>\n

Look, I mean, if you\u2019re a leftist and your whole life has been spent beating up on the rich and trashing them and calling them names — and you\u2019re accusing them of being heartless and cold and bigoted and racist and selfish and greedy — and then all of a sudden you become one of them, and then added to that all of a sudden you act like you want to be one of \u2019em? Well, then you\u2019re gonna have to think you need to go out and tell people, “Well, I\u2019m not like those other rich people!”<\/p>\n

Which is where they\u2019re getting caught up. Now, let\u2019s see, this story<\/a>: “Student Leaders Ask Hillary To Return ‘Outrageous\u2019 $225,000 School Speaking Fee — Two top student government leaders at the University of Las Vegas are requesting Hillary Clinton return the ‘outrageous\u2019 $225,000 speaking fee she reportedly will receive for an upcoming speech at the school in October.<\/p>\n

<\/a>“In a video circulated by the national Republican Party Friday, Elias Benjelloun, the UNLV student body president, and Daniel Waqar, the student government\u2019s public relations director, slammed the university\u2019s foundation for paying Clinton so much for the event.” All was fine until they found out what she makes. She gets $225,000 for a speech, and the students are making moves on getting the money back.<\/p>\n

This stuff that\u2019s happening to the Clintons in the Drive-Bys are not things they\u2019re used to. They\u2019re used to being pampered, covered for, all the soft soap. They\u2019re not used to Diane Sawyer giving Mrs. Clinton grief over it. They\u2019re just not used to any of this. And now students asking for the money back? Remember, these liberals, they think they\u2019re better than everybody else anyway. That\u2019s what the Pew Center survey tells us. So these students want the 225 grand back and Mrs. Clinton says, “Who do they think they are? Deal!”<\/p>\n
