RUSH: Now, Luis Gutierrez. He\u2019s from Illinois. He\u2019s a member of Congress. I first heard of Luis Gutierrez — in fact, he was scheduled to be interviewed by me in the Limbaugh Letter and backed out. It was a really rancorous time. I guess it always is. The Democrat Party had lost the House, 1993 elections, 1994, the Republicans took control for the first time in 40 years, and there was a lot of problems on the Democrat side. During the campaign, 1993, there were a bunch of Democrats who were being threatened by the leadership, either vote certain ways or we\u2019re not gonna help you in your reelection effort. <\/p>\n

I just happened to point out that this is what happens on the Democrat side. The reason they\u2019re able to get such loyalty is every freshman, every newbie, they bring \u2019em in, the Speaker\u2019s office, the leadership, and they read \u2019em the riot act. They tell \u2019em, if you want to stay here more than your first term, you\u2019ll vote the way we tell you to vote and we\u2019ll make sure you get reelected. We\u2019ll find donors for you from outside the district if we have to. But if you go renegade, if you try to forge your own career, if you try to build your own ladder here and climb your own ladder here we\u2019re gonna cut it out from you and you won\u2019t be here a second term. <\/line><\/p>\n

Well, Luis Gutierrez went on TV and said exactly that. He was not complaining so much. A little bit of complaint, but he was just informing. And so since he had gone public and proven me right, I wanted to talk to him. We were all scheduled to interview him for the Limbaugh Letter, and he backed out. If I\u2019m not mistaken I think he backed out at the last moment because the leadership was not happy. He\u2019d given up the ghost. <\/p>\n

Well, now he\u2019s done it again. “Democrat Leader Accidentally Spills The Beans About Real Reason For Amnesty on Live TV.” This from BizPac Review<\/a>. “US Rep. Luis Gutierrez, D-Ill., inadvertently tipped the Democratic Party\u00c2\u2019s hand Friday on why they so doggedly pursue amnesty for millions of illegal immigrants in the United States<\/a>. While appearing on MSNBC\u00c2\u2019s ‘Morning Joe,\u2019 Gutierrez crowed about going to the White House later in the day to ‘negotiate\u2019 how the president, with a stroke of the pen, can legalize up to 5 million illegal immigrants.<\/p>\n

“President Obama\u00c2\u2018s expected executive action will, in effect, not only nullify the immigration laws of the United States, but serve to create a legion of brand new Democrat voters. A fact that didn\u00c2\u2019t escape Gutierrez.”<\/p>\n

He\u2019s all happy about this. “It\u00c2\u2019s pretty clear the Democrats want amnesty and are flooding the country with new illegals in the hopes of overwheling the electoral system with more Democrat voters addicted to handouts and freebies.” And the quote from Luis Gutierrez, “When you use — when public policy is defined through electoral goals and the goals of a party, then human rights and civil rights always suffer. We must put the rights of the people ahead of benefits that we might construe come to our party.” Luis Gutierrez gave up the ghost on national TV. <\/p>\n

<\/a>Now, folks, it\u2019s no big. We all know it. It\u2019s just they\u2019ve never admitted it. They always mask what they\u2019re doing or camouflage it in compassion terms. “Look at these poor kids, oh, my gosh, they\u2019re starving, we\u2019ve gotta help the children.” They never, ever — in fact, what they do, they try to tell the Republicans that if they don\u2019t get on board they\u2019re never gonna win because these people will never vote for \u2019em if they oppose amnesty and this, that, and the other thing. That\u2019s a separate story, Obama with a stroke of his pen just legalizing another five million. <\/p>\n

Now, I think part of this is he is really trying to goad the House Republicans into impeaching him, really trying. I mean, very hard. It\u2019s become obvious. It\u2019s so obvious, he\u2019s not fooling anybody with it. However, I was watching CNN this morning — well, I don\u2019t watch CNN; it\u2019s on, and I happened to glance up a moment and I saw a headline, “GOP Wants to Impeach Obama.” I looked at that, and I said, “No, no, that headline is a lie.” So I turned on the sound. And that headline went with a story about Obama trying to goad the GOP into impeaching him. The graphic, the headline on screen said nothing about Obama. It just said, “GOP Wants to Impeach Obama.” <\/p>\n

So even without them doing it they\u2019re gonna get blamed for it. I need you keep a sharp eye on this. CNN and other Drive-By Media are gonna report this not as something Obama is trying to make happen. They\u2019re going to report this as something the Republicans want to happen so that they get creamed by it even if they do nothing. It\u2019s a strategy. There is no journalism anymore, don\u2019t forget. There\u2019s only advocacy and support for the Democrat agenda, disguised as the news.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
