RUSH: John in Chicago. We head back to the phones. I\u2019m glad you waited, sir. Welcome to the program. Hi.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Thank you, Rush. A real pleasure to talk to you. Hey, President Obama\u2019s news conference the other day on James Foley, he said, “No just god would stand for what they did yesterday.” And I\u2019m thinking, is that kind of a slap in the face of God? Was God taking yesterday off? It just seemed odd that —<\/p>\n

RUSH: Wait a minute. Wait a minute.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Yeah?<\/p>\n

RUSH: Darn it, let me get to that Stack, because somewhere here — I don\u2019t think I printed out his whole statement. I\u2019ve got a couple of stories of people objecting to certain things he said. I\u2019ve got one of them here, but I don\u2019t think I\u2019ve heard that.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Yeah, it\u2019s the news conference, those were his direct words. “No just god would stand for what they did yesterday.” It just struck me and I asked my daughter, I said, “What do you think about that, Sarah?” And she said, “I think he\u2019s talking about their god.” But if he\u2019s saying “no just god,” I mean, there is only one God, I mean, people worship other gods, but God was working yesterday, and it\u2019s kind of slap in the face of God, I think, because, you know, he is a just God, but many people believe, I believe he\u2019s a just God —<\/p>\n

RUSH: Now, I really don\u2019t remember this. You heard him say it?<\/line><\/p>\n

CALLER: Absolutely. I started this call, I was out pumping gas, and I go, “I\u2019m gonna call in, \u2019cause I think this is important.” So then I came home, I hopped on my TV and I went back to yesterday, I played it, and those are his exact words, “No just god would stand for what they did yesterday.” It just struck me as odd.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Well, I think, if he said that you — don\u2019t you think he was probably attacking ISIS and Al-Qaeda\u2019s definition of Islam?<\/p>\n

CALLER: Yeah.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Don\u2019t you think he might have been saying that, “Hey, don\u2019t throw this off on Allah. Allah doesn\u2019t believe in this stuff. Allah doesn\u2019t do this”? He might have said “no just god,” whatever you said, but I don\u2019t think your interpretation of this is right, \u2019cause it that would be so egregious, that would be the only thing anybody would be talking about. I think he was actually trying to say don\u2019t lay this off on Allah. Allah doesn\u2019t tell you guys to do this, you did this, no just god would. That\u2019s my interpretation of what he meant.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Well, that could very well be, but there\u2019s also a real true God who was working yesterday, and he allowed it to happen, so it just struck me as odd that he would say something like that.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Well, okay, I found it. He did say, “no just god would stand for the ISIS beheading of journalist James Foley.” That\u2019s gotta be a slap at what they are trying to tell everybody that their god tells them to do.<\/p>\n

CALLER: I don\u2019t know. I don\u2019t know that he would venture out to mention that Allah is anything but perfect. I mean, no one would want to go that direction with this. But he still kind of — I don\u2019t know, it kind of took me back a little bit. Why would you say something like that? I think it goes back to his narcissism.<\/p>\n

RUSH: In this case I don\u2019t. I really think that he was slapping at these guys. They run around and, you know, Allahu Akbar, god\u2019s the greatest, they do this stuff. Obama\u2019s a guy who said that one of the most beautiful sounds in the world is the evening call to prayer at a mosque. “No just God would stand for what they did.” That can only be interpreted one way, and that is, “Hey, you guys, you know, own it, you did it, but don\u2019t say you\u2019re doing this for God. Don\u2019t lay this off on Allah.” That has to be what he meant.<\/p>\n

Anyway, I appreciate the call. I understand that you took it in a different way. Depends on how you hear these things. No just god would permit this. If that\u2019s all you hear, sure, wow, there can\u2019t even be a god. What god would allow this? But that\u2019s not how he meant it. He\u2019s not that far gone, to go there. The context of this has to be within the realm of these guys laying it all off on Allah. I think you\u2019re over-thinking it just a bit.<\/p>\n

BREAK TRANSCRIPT<\/p>\n

RUSH: Okay. Grab sound bite number 26. I think the way to look at this… This is the sound bite the caller was talking about so we get the whole context of it here. Obama\u2019s really ticked at the JV team here. Remember, ISIS was “the JV team.” Hey, folks, I\u2019m… You know, it\u2019s “character assassination” again. I\u2019m just reminding you how he characterized ISIS and Iran.<\/p>\n

Oh, it\u2019s a small country! It can\u2019t do anything to anybody. Iraq, Iran, no reason to be so concerned about all. ISIS are the JV team!<\/p>\n

So here it is. This was just minutes before he dashed out back to the golf course.<\/p>\n

OBAMA: ISIL speaks for no religion. Their victims are overwhelmingly Muslim, and no faith teaches people to massacre innocents. No just god would stand for what they did yesterday and what they do every single day. ISIL has no ideology of any value to human beings. Their ideology is bankrupt. They may claim out of expediency that they are at war with the United States or the West, but the fact is they terrorize their neighbors and offer them nothing but an endless slavery to their empty vision and the collapse of any definition of civilized behavior.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Right. So my in-context interpretation is there\u2019s no question he\u2019s ripping these guys, and not just the “no just god” for this. But ” ISIL speaks for no religion. Their victims are overwhelmingly Muslim, and no faith teaches people to massacre innocents.” Um. Uh. (groans) Jeez. <\/p>\n

Folks, I just… That really isn\u2019t true. Let me just… (sighs) You know my old buddy Andy McCarthy.<\/p>\n

He was in the US attorney\u2019s office for the Southern District of Manhattan. He was the US attorney who convicted the blind sheik, and he\u2019s written about this. He\u2019s told the story over and over again. He read the Koran \u2019cause he couldn\u2019t believe that this guy, the blind sheik, was mainstream. He was reading the Koran to find evidence that this guy was a radical extremist, outside the mainstream of Islam.<\/p>\n

Because he was trying to prep and find evidence, ways, statements the guy had made to demonstrate how extreme he was as part of attempting to gain a conviction. (chuckles) He was shocked. He\u2019s written about this. He was shocked to learn that much, if not most, of what the blind sheik was out saying is right there. I tell you, I know Andy pretty well and it has informed his thinking on all of this for US foreign policy involving the Middle East ever since.<\/p>\n

He is one of the leading American intellectuals attempting to awaken everybody to the real threat of Sharia law and what it is. But, anyway, Obama\u2019s statement there is clearly his way of slapping these guys. It was like if you were a devout Christian, like this guy that that came out from the hospital today having been cured of Ebola and thanked God.<\/p>\n

If somebody disagreed with the God of Christianity would stand up and say, “Come on, Buddy! The medicine that we created made you. God had nothing to do with it! No just god\u2019s gonna save you and let somebody else die,” there\u2019d be outrage. Well, that\u2019s this. Obama was trying to slap those guys and their god by saying, “Don\u2019t lay it off on Allah! That\u2019s not what Allah wants. Allah is not telling you guys to do this.” I\u2019ve no doubt.<\/p>\n

You should read some of Andy McCarthy\u2019s book if any of what I have said to you is news. If you haven\u2019t heard it before and you\u2019re saying, “No, no, no, Rush. That can\u2019t be,” you should read this stuff. Remember, he starts out trying to find evidence the blind sheik is an absolute wacko. Well, he may still be.<\/p>\n
