RUSH: Mary, Clinton Township, Michigan, great to have you on the EIB Network. Hello.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Hi, Rush. Good to talk to you.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Thank you very much.<\/p>\n

CALLER: I wanted to make a comment. I was kind of surprised when President Obama was speaking about interacting with the hospital staff and the Ebola problem.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Yes.<\/p>\n

CALLER: He said at the time that he hugged and kissed the staff, not the doctors, just the nurses. And I\u2019m surprised, considering that, you know, poor Mitt Romney was so vilified for saying he had books full of women, that no one picked up this was a little sexist and perhaps even a little homophobic, assuming that men are only doctors, and nurses are only women, when that\u2019s not true and, you know, I didn\u2019t kiss any of the men, just the women. And, you know, no one\u2019s made fun of him for that.<\/line><\/p>\n

RUSH: Again, I\u2019m missing something. I\u2019m confused totally. When did Obama kiss Ebola nurses?<\/p>\n

CALLER: He interacted with the hospital staff —<\/p>\n

RUSH: Where?<\/p>\n

CALLER: — with Ebola —<\/p>\n

RUSH: Where?<\/p>\n

CALLER: He said he hugged and kissed the staff, not the doctors, just the women.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Where did this happen?<\/p>\n

CALLER: In the hospital, when he spoke about hugging the hospital staff.<\/p>\n

RUSH: I know. Which hospital, do you know?<\/p>\n

CALLER: No, I don\u2019t know which hospital. It was on TV. <\/p>\n

RUSH: Well, that\u2019s why I missed it. I don\u2019t watch TV news anymore.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Oh, okay. Yeah, it was on TV. It was a clip, he spoke about that, saying that he hugged and kissed the staff, not the doctors, just the nurses. I thought that was a little sexist because there are many women who are doctors, and lots of men who are nurses.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Maybe he means the doctors, and maybe he meant to include them in the —<\/p>\n

CALLER: No. He said not the doctors, that he didn\u2019t kiss the doctors.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Well, then he was just trying to make people think he wasn\u2019t spreading the disease or contracting it. I don\u2019t know.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Hmm.<\/p>\n

RUSH: You think this is sexist or homophobic on his part?<\/p>\n

CALLER: A little bit. I mean, perhaps his true feelings were showing in there. His true feelings. <\/p>\n

<\/a>RUSH: I think the guy\u2019s a horn dog. Did you see this — (interruption) Why are you reacting? Do you not know what happened at the early voting in Chicago? He kissed the woman. Here\u2019s the second half of that story. He\u2019s in Chicago, he\u2019s early voting, and there\u2019s a woman next to him named Aia something, and her boyfriend\u2019s there and he walks in. People are starting to think now that this may have been a whole scripted scenario. There are some people speculating that if it was scripted, it\u2019s even doubly bad. What happened was, Obama goes in, he\u2019s early voting, he\u2019s standing alone at the booth and there\u2019s a woman next to him, and her boyfriend\u2019s off to the side, and the boyfriend, out of nowhere, says, “Don\u2019t touch my girlfriend, Mr. President<\/a>.” <\/p>\n

This is a day after Tina Brown said he scares women<\/a>, makes \u2019em feel unsafe. So Obama\u2019s talking under his breath to the woman, and the woman is laughing, and he says, “You know what,” and he puts his arm around her, he says, “Kiss me. Let\u2019s show him what\u2019s up,” or something like that. And they kissed. The president kissed this guy\u2019s wife and then walked off the scene looking all cocky and everything, and some people think this whole thing was scripted. But there\u2019s another question about this.<\/p>\n

BREAK TRANSCRIPT<\/p>\n

RUSH: Okay. I found out what the caller was talking about. Obama was at the CDC in Atlanta. He went in there, a little press availability, and he said (paraphrasing), “I shook hands with, I hugged and I kissed, not the doctors, but a couple of nurses, because of the valiant work they did.” And what she thought was that since he made a big deal out of not kissing the doctors, that he wanted to make everybody aware that he wasn\u2019t gay. And her point was, what\u2019s wrong with being gay? Well, he is married. If he was gay, that would be a problem, so he\u2019s going out of his way to say he\u2019s not gay. That\u2019s her interpretation. <\/p>\n

But the exact quote is, “I shook hands with, hugged, and kissed not the doctors, but a couple of the nurses at Emory.” Well, no doctors have got sick, only the nurses have, so if he thought was he trying to engage in safety. There\u2019s also a take that maybe he was trying to say, “Hey, it\u2019s okay to nuzzle and kiss and embrace people that treated Ebola patients. It\u2019s not a problem.” <\/p>\n

The thing that interests me is this incident that happened in early voting in Chicago. I have watched this video. You got the president there, he\u2019s voting, and a black woman named Aia and her boyfriend Mike, and Mike is the guy when the president shows up to vote, he\u2019s voting between the two, there\u2019s an empty spot between him and he sidles in there and starts voting. And while he\u2019s voting he\u2019s talking to her. And while he\u2019s talking to her, this woman\u2019s boyfriend says, “Don\u2019t touch my girlfriend, Mr. President,” which is the strangest thing in the world to say. Of all the things you could say, “Don\u2019t touch my girlfriend.” What\u2019s Obama\u2019s reputation in Chicago that we don\u2019t know about? Why would the guy say that? <\/p>\n
