RUSH: San Bernardino, California. This is Larry. Welcome, sir. It\u2019s great to have you. Hi.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Hello. Can you hear me?<\/p>\n

RUSH: I hear you fine. Yeah.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Okay, good. Well, first of all, what I want to say is, thank you for everything you\u2019ve done and everything you\u2019re doing, because you\u2019re doing this for the black people, too. Big time for the black people. And I want to say this. And, you know, I wish they would stop calling this man — I can\u2019t call him no president — this man in the White House, the first black president, because he\u2019s not the first black president. He does not have the same bloodlines that blacks in America have. His bloodline is totally different from ours, in the way he is going about California, I\u2019m talking about like Riverside, San Bernardino, Fontana, Ontario, LA, Bakersfield, everywhere blacks, no work, \u2019cause all the jobs he gave to illegal immigrants. They got the jobs, and they got the money. <\/line>RUSH: You know, I have been waiting for somebody like you to say something like this. And the idea — what you\u2019re basically saying is that he\u2019s not got a civil rights linkage in his life, the civil rights coalition or past, he\u2019s not down for the struggle. He comes from a different experience. <\/line><\/p>\n

CALLER: That\u2019s right.<\/p>\n

RUSH: And he\u2019s taken jobs away from you people by opening up immigration, and that\u2019s gonna lower wages for everybody, for illegal immigrants, and you\u2019re basically saying he\u2019s got no loyalty to us.<\/p>\n

CALLER: He don\u2019t. You know, they want to say in Washington that we took impeachment off the table because he\u2019s the first black president. Well, he\u2019s not the first black president \u2019cause the first black president is yet to come, and he is not. And impeachment is what black people want. They want him out of the White House.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Well, no, that\u2019s not entirely true. The first black president was Bill Clinton.<\/p>\n

CALLER: No. No. Bill Clinton is nowhere — him and his wife both are just like Obama. You know, they hate blacks, Obama haters.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Now, wait a minute. Wait a second now, that —<\/p>\n

CALLER: He\u2019s got every reason to hate us, too.<\/p>\n

RUSH: That\u2019s going a little far. They don\u2019t hate blacks.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Yes he do. How can he not hate us? He takes everything away from us and give it to somebody else. What do you call that?<\/p>\n

RUSH: Folks, let me tell you something, it\u2019s a fascinating take. I\u2019ve done this exercise a lot. If I were African-American and if I fit the bill, I\u2019d vote Democrat every opportunity because I believe the Republicans don\u2019t like me and have great harm intended for me. The Democrats are looking out for me, and so I\u2019m gonna vote for them. They\u2019re gonna take care of me. They\u2019re gonna protect me against the racists. They\u2019re gonna protect me against these evil Republicans. <\/p>\n

After a while I\u2019m gonna say, “What am I getting out of this? What am I getting for this?” And now especially it seems that the Democrat Party\u2019s more interested in the Hispanic minority than they are in the black minority, and I\u2019ve been waiting for somebody to make this connection. I\u2019m glad you called, Larry. <\/p>\n

By the way, speaking of this, Charlie Rangel went back to CNN today. Wolf Blitzer wanted to give Charlie Rangel a chance to walk back his comment that Republicans still want there to be slavery, and Charlie Rangel doubled down on it. Blitzer was clearly distressed, pointed out, how can you say this? Republicans just elected Tim Scott, the first black senator South Carolina since Reconstruction. He\u2019s a Republican. And Rangel doubled down on it. (imitating Rangel) “You can\u2019t fool me. They all Dixiecrats, and they all want, if they had their druthers, they\u2019d be wanting to have slavery still.” <\/p>\n

Even today, Charlie Rangel\u2019s out saying what the Republicans really, really want is to reinstitute slavery. (interruption) I don\u2019t know. I worry about where Charlie\u2019s mind is to assume it was okay yesterday. I don\u2019t think Charlie\u2019s been right for a long time about anything, but, you know, the problem is that Charlie got reelected. People believe him. You know, I don\u2019t know how isolated that is. But, I\u2019m telling you, that\u2019s not a service to his constituents in any way, shape, manner, or form.
