RUSH: Hillary Clinton. This is on Wednesday in Washington at Georgetown University. She did a foreign policy press conference. This is the event that was half empty. There were more empty seats than filled seats. I don\u2019t get the fear of Hillary Clinton. I mean, she gets elected, I understand it, but I don\u2019t understand the fear that has her already elected. The woman\u2019s book bombed. Her book tour bombed. She\u2019s making speeches at Georgetown, and half the place doesn\u2019t show up.<\/p>\n
I\u2019m telling you, there\u2019s no connection there. And it\u2019s gonna be even worse for her with Millennials. You wait. I\u2019m gonna explain that in just a second, but you ought to hear what she said here. This is our former secretary of state, and a woman that a bunch of Republicans are scared to death of is already as good as elected as the next president.<\/p>\n
HILLARY: This is what we call smart power, using every possible tool and partner to advance peace and security. Leaving no one on the sidelines. Showing respect even for one\u2019s enemies. Trying to understand, and insofar as psychologically possible, empathize with their perspective and point of view. Helping to define the problems, determine the solutions, that is what we believe in the twenty-first century will change, change the prospects for peace.<\/p>\n

RUSH: This is just unbelievable, folks. We must empathize with our enemies. Smart power. You know, I\u2019m so tired of that phrase. That\u2019s what John Kerry — he served Vietnam, by the way. This is smart diplomacy, smart this, smart that. It\u2019s stupid, it\u2019s dumb. No one on the sidelines, showing respect even for our enemies. You ever thought about showing Republicans some respect, Hillary? I bet that never crossed your mind, did it?<\/p>\n
You know, you ought to start treating your enemies the way you treat Republicans and conservatives, and then we might have a decent foreign policy. “And insofar as psychologically possible, empathize with our enemies\u2019 perspective and point of view.” Empathize with it? So we\u2019re back now to if we just show them that we\u2019re nice people, they\u2019ll stop being mad at us. If we just show them we\u2019re nice, they\u2019ll stop wanting to kill us.” We had a lot of respect and empathy for Hitler, right, for Stalin, for Mao? Yeah. Yeah. I tell you, some people say she\u2019s just Obama in a pantsuit. I\u2019m gonna tell you something, folks.<\/p>\n
I really think, when it comes to these Millennials, these ADD, ADHD Millennials, short attention spans, hip deep into pop culture, I don\u2019t think they\u2019re gonna find — I think Hillary Clinton is already one of the least interesting people in public life. She\u2019s awkward; she\u2019s unoriginal; she has the improvisational skills of a parrot. And she\u2019s photogenic on like the 23rd take. I\u2019ll tell you something else. You wait. You wait \u2019til these Millennials find out how she enabled her husband to sexually whatever, abuse, what, all of these women. They weren\u2019t alive when that happened.<\/p>\n
They weren\u2019t alive during Paula Jones, Gennifer Flowers, and Kathleen Willey, or they weren\u2019t old enough to remember it. Lewinsky and all that, wait \u2019til they find out. Let me put it to you this way. Today\u2019s Millennials — don\u2019t misquote me on this — if they found out that Obama was running around serially involved in adulterous relationships and Michelle Obama was in charge of ruining the reputations of the women involved, you think the Millennials would put up with it?<\/p>\n
Well, wait \u2019til they find out that Hillary ran the bimbo eruptions. This generation of young people, gay marriage, all of this stuff, fine and dandy, feminism totally runs their show. You wait \u2019til they find out Hillary\u2019s role in what she did to other women. I\u2019m telling you, it isn\u2019t gonna be the slam dunk for her, particularly now that Candy Crowley has quit.
