Climate change, the biggest thing facing Catholicism and Christianity.  Can you believe this?  You know, when this guy came out with his economic statements and I said it\u2019s Marxism, the world erupted in outrage that I would dare characterize the pope as a Marxist. But his economic policies or philosophies, as he explained them, were completely that. <\/p>\n<p>And then if I\u2019m not mistaken, the Vatican went on a, what do you call it, circle the wagons tour, &#8220;That\u2019s not what the pope was saying. The pope is not a Marxist.&#8221;  Okay, fine, they had to dial it back.  But aboard the papal plane, this is from Reuters, the reporter is on board the Alitalia plane that\u2019s ferreting the pope around. <\/p>\n<p><img id=\"eZObject_100944\" class=\"aligncenter\" align=\"middle\" src=\"https:\/\/live-rush-limbaugh.pantheonsite.io\/wp-content\/uploads\/IlPapa585.jpg\"\/><BR\/>&#8220;Pope Francis waded into the global debate about climate change on Thursday, saying that he believed that man was primarily responsible and that he hoped this year\u00c2\u2019s Paris conference would take a courageous stand to protect the environment. The Pope said his long-awaited encyclical on the environment was almost finished and that he hoped it would be published in June, in time provide food for thought ahead of the U.N. climate meeting Paris in November.<\/line><\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Speaking to reporters on the plane taking him from Sri Lanka to Manila, he was asked specifically if man was mostly to blame for climate change. &#8216;I don\u00c2\u2019t know if it is all [man\u00c2\u2019s fault] but the majority is, for the most part, it is man who continuously slaps down nature,\u2019 he said.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Folks, I gotta really watch it here.  We\u2019re talking about the Vicar of Christ here.  The Vicar of Christ believes man is not part of nature?  I\u2019m gonna leave it there.  My religious beliefs are one of many things that inform me that we couldn\u2019t have any impact on the climate, the planet, the globe, creation, no matter what, no matter how much we wanted to.  It\u2019s beyond our reach.  But that\u2019s just me.
