CALLER: Thank you so much, Rush. It\u2019s Michaela, but that\u2019s okay.<\/p>\n

RUSH: I\u2019m sorry. You know, I see that name spelled… Is it Michaela?<\/p>\n

CALLER: Yes.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Okay. See, I know somebody that spells her name exactly like you pronounces it Michaela.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Yeah, I get that a lot. That\u2019s okay.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Then I said, “No, it\u2019s not. It\u2019s Michael.” And they\u2019re women! These are all women.<\/p>\n

CALLER: I get that, too. I get that, too.<\/p>\n

RUSH: I\u2019m confused. I\u2019m sorry.<\/p>\n

CALLER: That\u2019s okay. I just wanted to call and tell you yesterday\u2019s show<\/a>, you had two young ladies on that had been I guess confronted at school, and they stood up for what was right, and they were really encouraging to me. I have three Rush Babies, and I have one in college. So you can imagine what she comes home telling us about her classes. And she gets kind of discouraged. Yesterday she came home and said she has to take a sociology class. She came home, and she was like, “Mom, it\u2019s a social justice class. The teacher already told us that, that\u2019s what the whole class is gonna be about.” I said, “You should have heard these two girls on Rush Limbaugh today. If they can stand up, you can. I think they were like 11 and 14.”<\/line><\/p>\n

RUSH: Nine and 14.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Was one nine? Oh, my.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Nine.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Very impressive. I said, “You can do it. If they can do it, you can do it,” because I have brought her up right. We\u2019ve always listened to your program. I homeschooled all the way through. So your program is like our political science class. So she\u2019s always been ready with answers, but she gets discouraged sometimes, too, like everybody does. I just wanted to pass that on and thank you for that, because it\u2019s made a big difference. She was really excited to hear that.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Let me tell you something, Michaela: We all get that way.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Yes.<\/p>\n

RUSH: To one degree or another, people get spirited, sometimes for a few days, sometimes for few minutes or whatever. It happens to all of us.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Yes.<\/p>\n

RUSH: But there\u2019s a way around this. <\/p>\n

CALLER: Yes.<\/p>\n

RUSH: You say that your daughter came home, the college student, and she didn\u2019t take sociology or social studies, whatever, but the professor actually said “social justice”?<\/p>\n

CALLER: That\u2019s what she said.<\/p>\n

RUSH: All right.<\/p>\n

CALLER: She said it\u2019s a middle-aged woman, and she stood up. She has one class so far, \u2019cause it\u2019s once a week, and she said, “This class is all about social justice, and I want you to write a paper on when you were silenced.” And my daughter just thought, “What am I gonna do that on?”<\/p>\n

RUSH: Wait, wait. I was just gonna ask you.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Yes?<\/p>\n

RUSH: Did the teacher, professor, whoever define “social justice,” or does she just assume the students know what she means by it?<\/p>\n

CALLER: She probably defined it. She probably defined it. I mean, she\u2019s all about inequalities in our country and how it has impacted everybody.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Social justice is grievance politics.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Yes, that\u2019s pretty much it.<\/p>\n

RUSH: It\u2019s Victimology 101 on steroids —<\/p>\n

CALLER: Yes.<\/p>\n

RUSH: — and it\u2019s aimed at anybody that somebody thinks is part of the power structure.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Right. Right. The victim mentality.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Right.<\/p>\n

CALLER: So, you know, my daughter went to community college for two years on a scholarship. Obama didn\u2019t pay for it. She earned it. And now she\u2019s at a four-year private college, and it\u2019s a religious school, so she didn\u2019t think it would be as bad as a community college.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Ha. Ha.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Hopefully not.<\/p>\n

RUSH: I\u2019ll tell you, these people are everywhere.<\/p>\n

CALLER: They are. They are.<\/p>\n

RUSH: They\u2019re like roaches. They\u2019re roaches.<\/p>\n

CALLER: They are.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n<\/map>\n<\/p>\n

RUSH: They\u2019ve infested every living institution they are in.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Mmm-hmm. And she was silenced at the community college, so she has a paper to write because she was there for Election 2012. In fact, she had to take a class called Election 2012, and she was accosted by two professors that wanted to know who she was voting for, and when she said, “Not Obama,” they just went off on her. So she has a story to write. I don\u2019t think it\u2019s gonna be the story the teacher expected.<\/p>\n

RUSH: I was just going to say, “This is not what this little commie pinko professorette is expecting to hear.”<\/p>\n

CALLER: No. No. Not expecting it.<\/p>\n

RUSH: There\u2019s a way around all this, and it seems like it could be hard, but actually I don\u2019t think that it is, and it\u2019s the same principle. People — and I\u2019m not saying that your daughter is nervous. Don\u2019t misunderstand. <\/p>\n

CALLER: No.<\/p>\n

RUSH: I\u2019m just using this as an example. People who are afraid of public speaking, for example, the real fear is not because they\u2019re going to be appearing before a lot of people. They\u2019re afraid they\u2019re gonna be exposed as not knowing what they\u2019re talking about.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Right.<\/p>\n

RUSH: That\u2019s the real fear. Once you become confident, A, of what you believe — and then, B, confident that you can explain it — then you have no fear of confronting anybody about it.<\/p>\n

CALLER: That\u2019s true.<\/p>\n

RUSH: I would suggest to you that your daughter probably already, in terms of truth and reality, can run rings around this professor. Because this professor is living in a fantasy world of her and her previous teachers\u2019 creation, where life is unfair, unjust, immoral.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Yes.<\/p>\n

RUSH: All of these cockamamie examples that are not actually true. Your daughter already can probably run rings around her.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Yes, she can.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Well, then there\u2019s no reason to be intimidated. She\u2019s gonna get frustrated, I can\u2019t tell you how much.<\/p>\n

CALLER: She is, yes.<\/p>\n

RUSH: But there\u2019s no reason to be intimidated by this.<\/p>\n

CALLER: No, no. She knows what\u2019s right. She\u2019s been taught what\u2019s right, my daughter, so it\u2019s just a matter of expressing it.<\/p>\n

RUSH: If her example of how she has been silenced is gonna be that couple liberal professors made her shut up because of her views, that\u2019s one of the greatest opening statements she could make in this class!<\/p>\n

CALLER: That\u2019s right. I hope she gets a chance to actually read her paper to the whole class, but that would probably be hoping for too much. (chuckles)<\/p>\n

RUSH: Well, even if that doesn\u2019t happen, this infobabe professorette\u2019s gonna read it and grade it.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Uh-huh. Uh huh. That\u2019s true.<\/p>\n

RUSH: And you can be confident that you\u2019re gonna cause an earthquake —<\/p>\n

CALLER: Oh, yes.<\/p>\n

RUSH: — in this professor\u2019s office or home —<\/p>\n

CALLER: Yes.<\/p>\n

RUSH: — whenever she does read this thing.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Yes.<\/p>\n

RUSH: And it\u2019s gonna make your daughter a target.<\/p>\n

CALLER: She is, unfortunately, but that\u2019s life. That\u2019s life in America these days, but she\u2019s gotta be ready cause that\u2019s what it\u2019s like anymore unfortunately. But not all Millennials are like that. My daughter did say that. She is a Millennial, and she said, “We\u2019re not all watching MTV and smoking pot.”<\/p>\n

RUSH: Right.<\/p>\n

CALLER: There are a number of them that are conservatives and have conservative values and know how to express \u2019em. <\/p>\n

RUSH: Oh, no doubt. No doubt.<\/p>\n

CALLER: I just wanted to thank you because, as I said, I have three Rush Babies, and you\u2019ve been a big help.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Well, I\u2019m flattered. I appreciate that. I really do. Thank you.<\/p>\n

CALLER: No problem.<\/p>\n

RUSH: How old are your other two kids?<\/p>\n

CALLER: I have an 18-year-old daughter and also and a 13-year-old son.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Oh, yeah?<\/p>\n

CALLER: Yeah.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Fun times.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Yes.<\/p>\n

RUSH: All right. Well, look, thank you very much, Michaela.<\/p>\n
