PS: I do not know Britt McHenry, he says. He doesn\u2019t say that. I just added that. Kyle Olson is the founder of the Education Action Group in 2007. <\/p>\n

There\u2019s a picture. It\u2019s not big enough for me to print with any quality and show you on the Dittocam, but it is yuk. It looks like a yellow lunch tray made out of the stuff that egg cartons are made out of. It may not be. It may be plastic, I don\u2019t know. But it\u2019s an egg yolk yellow that looks like the same material egg cartons are. <\/p>\n

It\u2019s got five different areas in the tray where five different foods or whatever could go, and three are empty. It looks like in the upper right-hand corner, like brown rice, or something close to it, ground soybeans, who knows. But the real mystery is what the heck is in the entree section, which is the largest section. <\/p>\n

Honestly, folks, it looks like one half of a fish. It looks like I can see the scales or the bones there, with the head still on it and a dark brown something or other on top of it, like an oat bran roll or something. I mean, it\u2019s just yuck-o. You think that\u2019s insect dressing made out of ground beetles and crickets? <\/line><\/p>\n

Anyway, it\u2019s from Portsmouth, Virginia. He starts the story: “That\u00c2\u2019s not really a fish filet with a whole wheat bun resting on top. Nah, your eyes are playing tricks on you. That\u00c2\u2019s what administrators at Virginia\u00c2\u2019s Portsmouth Public Schools want parents to believe after a mother took a photo of her child\u00c2\u2019s paltry school lunch and posted it on social media. The mom says James Hurst Elementary served the lunch Tuesday.<\/p>\n

“After the photo began circulating around the community, Food Service Coordinator Jim Gehlhoff admitted the lunch ‘concerns us,\u2019 but added that it might not actually be as bad as it looks. ‘Poor lighting and food presentation make this lunch unappealing,\u2019 he said in a statement released to the media. He says it\u00c2\u2019s in compliance with the federal lunch rules championed by First Lady Michelle Obama. ‘The meal in this photo and other meals served by Portsmouth Public Schools meet nutritional and USDA requirements,\u2019 according to the food service coordinator.”<\/p>\n

\"large\"Anyway, so it\u2019s not a fish filet with a whole wheat bun. Well then what is it? This is the most unappetizing looking whatever it is. There\u2019s no way your average, ordinary American school kid\u2019s gonna eat this. They\u2019re gonna make tracks to the nearest vending machine they can find if there is one. (interruption) What, what are you laughing at in there? (interruption) You\u2019re looking at it? Okay, you\u2019re agreeing it\u2019s disgusting? Okay, good. It really is. <\/line><\/p>\n

This is not the first we\u2019ve heard of this, folks. We\u2019ve heard of kids complaining about school lunches ever since Michelle took this program over, years now. We\u2019ve heard story after story, kids refusing to eat it, and they\u2019ve had to put vending machines in there, or take the lunches out. Even the kids who ate it were not having their hunger sated, it wasn\u2019t nearly enough. <\/p>\n

You know, Michelle\u2019s on this health kick, which is typical of all of these cradle-to-grave nanny type liberals. You as a parent do not know what\u2019s best for your kid. You don\u2019t know how to raise your kid right. You certainly do not know how to properly feed your child, and Michelle Obama and the government are going to do it for you and they\u2019re not gonna give you any choice in the matter. <\/p>\n

\"large\"RUSH: For those of you watching the Dittocam, do you see what\u2019s on my computer monitor behind me? That\u2019s an expanded, blown up, zoomed-in photo of the school lunch in question that we were talking about today that\u2019s highlighted on the front page of the Drudge Report. <\/line><\/p>\n

Now, I just printed that out and I\u2019m gonna show you on the Dittocam here in a minute. I want to move my microphone boom out of the way for just a moment so that you could see what I thought, in a standard resolution photo, looked like brown rice, is actually the ugliest, yuckiest, dry corn I have ever, ever seen. That\u2019s what that is, if you can see it now that I\u2019ve moved. <\/p>\n

Now, I\u2019m gonna reach behind me here. I\u2019m gonna grab the thing that I just printed out. This is not gonna be the best, but I don\u2019t have a video switch so I\u2019ve just gotta zoom in to show you. I\u2019m zooming in right now. Okay, turn the Dittocam on. I don\u2019t know what that is. It looks like fish. Your guess is as good as mine. Snake. It looks scaly. It\u2019s gray. Up close with a lot of light that looks like a brown like rye bread roll or something. And that is corn. That is the yuckiest, and that\u2019s it, that\u2019s all that\u2019s on that tray. Nobody would eat this. A homeless person wouldn\u2019t. This wouldn\u2019t be served in a soup kitchen. <\/p>\n

This is the Michelle Obama school lunch guidelines responsible for this. It\u2019s just yucko out there. I thought it was rice pilaf or brown rice or what have you, but it\u2019s not. It\u2019s the driest, yuckiest, ugliest corn. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
