Great to have you on Open Line Friday, sir.  Hello.<\/p>\n<p>CALLER:  It\u2019s an honor, Rush.  I got a problem with all the&#8230; McConnell, Boehner, and Karl Rove.  They\u2019ve hijacked the party.<\/p>\n<p>RUSH:  Yeah. (sigh)<\/p>\n<p>CALLER:  I want to know why nobody says nothing about it.  I mean, we elect these conservatives, they get in there, and then they\u2019re browbeaten into submission.<\/p>\n<p>RUSH:  Well, it\u2019s not that nobody says anything about it.  I myself have been referencing this.  Others I know have.  I mean, I know people who are making this the focal point of their media presentations.  I think what people&#8230; I was gonna say &#8220;people don\u2019t understand.&#8221;  I think people do understand it.  The Republican Party establishment co-opted by the Chamber of Commerce, and the Chamber of Commerce appears to have been infiltrated by the left.<\/p>\n<p>CALLER:  Yes.  But we keep electing conservatives in there and nothing gets done.<\/p>\n<p><img id=\"eZObject_107162\" class=\"aligncenter\" align=\"middle\" src=\"https:\/\/live-rush-limbaugh.pantheonsite.io\/wp-content\/uploads\/GOP-Grew.jpg\"\/><BR\/>RUSH:  Well, because &#8212;<\/line><\/p>\n<p>CALLER:  Everyone\u2019s just gonna give up.<\/p>\n<p>RUSH:  Yeah.  So what you\u2019re really angry about here is that the conservative minority in the House is not actively trying to stop Boehner and McConnell.  Is that your real complaint?<\/p>\n<p>CALLER:  Right.  Get them two out and start a revolt. Get them two out of control.<\/p>\n<p>RUSH:  Well, what do you mean, &#8220;start a revolt&#8221;?  You mean get rid of Boehner and McConnell from leadership?<\/p>\n<p>CALLER:  Yeah.  They made a little attempt of it in the beginning when they made Boehner Speaker of the House. But I think they\u2019d have gotten more votes than that to get rid of \u2019em.<\/p>\n<p>RUSH:  Well, no, I understand the desire.  It\u2019s just that the way the rules in these institutions exist, it\u2019s really hard to get rid of these leaders &#8212; and if you fail, you\u2019re done. <\/p>\n<p>CALLER: I know.<\/p>\n<p>RUSH: You don\u2019t get a committee. You don\u2019t get any reelection money.  I\u2019m not making excuses for it.  I\u2019m just trying to explain to you the way it is.  But the Republican Party is not what you think it is anymore.  The Republican Party establishment, the big donors: They want amnesty, for example. They want cheap&#8230; This is all about cheap labor.  I hate saying it. I can\u2019t tell you how much I hate saying it.
