CALLER: I\u2019m good. How are you? <\/p>\n

RUSH: I\u2019m very well. Thank you very much.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Great. (giggles) I just had a comment. I\u2019m just been very frustrated to see people flock to Trump. I recognize he has this persona of no fear, he\u2019s not politically correct, but to me there\u2019s little difference between him and Obama. Their beliefs, their character, are very similar. The only difference I see is Trump uses his own money to get what he wants and Obama uses —<\/p>\n

RUSH: Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa! Slow down here just a second. I know we have limited time here, but you need to know that there\u2019s an army of Trump people out there who —<\/p>\n

CALLER: (giggles)<\/p>\n

RUSH: — if they find out who you are, they\u2019re gonna be coming for you. I mean, it\u2019s not all right to not like Trump. But to compare him to Obama, you have really stepped in it here as far as they are concerned.<\/line><\/p>\n

CALLER: Well —<\/p>\n

RUSH: So slow down. What do you mean by this?<\/p>\n

CALLER: Well, what I mean is their character is very similar. He\u2019s very liberal. He has very little standards. I mean, he\u2019s even said he supports the health care system. You know, he thinks he can just mow over people. He says he hires people and he gets what he wants with money. He said that\u2019s why he supported Hillary Clinton was to get what he wanted. So that\u2019s not what our country is about. He\u2019s not interested —<\/p>\n

RUSH: Well, no. What he said was, “I\u2019m a businessman. This is how the game\u2019s played. If you need something out of Hillary, you gotta pay her.”<\/p>\n

CALLER: Right. But he\u2019s transferring that same system as a leader of our country, and that\u2019s not… Yes, you have to use some of the same principles of governing. Balancing a budget, you know, handling your money and that kind of thing. But you can\u2019t just walk in there… As a leader of our country, you\u2019ve got to be respectable and you have to respect others, but yet you still have to stand for the truth. And I still have yet to really hear very much of what he stands for except his liberal idea that he supported all these years.<\/line><\/p>\n

RUSH: Well, there are some people that think Trump is a closet liberal. There are some people who think that he\u2019s a wide open liberal who has enough conservative philosophy mixed in to convince people. So you are not alone in this, and Trump has been asked this question, and he says, “Hey, everybody changes. We all change.” He uses Reagan. “You know, Reagan used to be a big Democrat. I knew Reagan! Reagan was a great guy. Reagan loved me! Did you know that? Reagan loved Trump. Did you know that? You probably didn\u2019t know that. Trump was loved by Reagan. Reagan was a big Democrat. We talked about! We talked about it!” <\/p>\n
