RUSH: We have a Millennial student on the phones from Aurora, Illinois. It\u2019s Harry. Harry, great to have you here, sir. How are you.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Hey, Rush, how you doing?<\/p>\n

RUSH: Very well, sir. Thank you.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Well, my question for you is, I\u2019ve been to three schools: A junior college, I transferred to a Catholic four-year school, and now I\u2019m at the current four-last year institution that I\u2019m at. And this morning was the first day of classes for my senior year and I\u2019m in a government class, and my teacher, everything started off well. She seemed very sweet. She\u2019s very nice and she got back into her background and history of teaching and all that and she was saying that she grew up in a very political household and they watched…<\/p>\n

She became an activist for anti-war Vietnam stuff and an activist for the civil rights and all that, she said she\u2019s not objective at all. She hates Republicans, hates Fox News. And I\u2019m sitting there and she started attacking Donald Trump and illegal immigration. And I kind of stood up for myself, and I feel like I\u2019m the minority in the class. I\u2019ve felt this for a couple of years now and, quite frankly, I\u2019m sick of it. And my question for you is what can someone like me, other conservative students around the nation do to kind of stick up for the conservative principles?<\/line><\/p>\n

RUSH: Here\u2019s what you do. I\u2019m gonna give you a couple of websites where you can go and find a common bond with students just like yourself who are chronicling this kind of stuff.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Okay.<\/p>\n

RUSH: One\u2019s called College Reform<\/a>. The other\u2019s called The College Fix<\/a>.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Okay. Perfect.<\/p>\n

RUSH: These are people that are on campus like you are who are chronicling all of the examples of madcap, stupid liberalism, and they\u2019re just publicizing it. You know what you can do? The best thing you can do is what you\u2019re doing, just tell everybody. Don\u2019t fight the professor. Just don\u2019t believe her. It\u2019s not gonna serve you, unless she\u2019s the kind that you can have productive disagreements in class that are not gonna harm your grade.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Right.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Then have fun at it, but you\u2019re not gonna change her. Especially since, you know, she admitted to you who she is.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Right.<\/p>\n

RUSH: You\u2019ve gotta take that into account with everything she teaches. You now have a reason to suspect everything she teaches in that class. Do not weaken and do not buckle to this. Just make her think you are, if you have to, for the grade. The grade, that\u2019s what you need going forward. I\u2019ve had people asking me this the entire time I\u2019ve been doing this program, and I\u2019ve changed my advice over the years on this.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Hm-hm.<\/p>\n

\"large\"RUSH: I used to advise people to be confrontational, not put up with it, but, you know, I\u2019ve gotten to the point now where it\u2019s so prevalent that it\u2019s almost more fun if you just try to take her to be as extreme as she can. Act like you believe it and then come up with the craziest wacko examples you can of things you think she would agree with in the form of questions. Have fun with it, play a game with it. But do not, whatever you do, do not let it have a permanent impact on what you think.<\/line><\/p>\n

CALLER: Okay.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Try to laugh at it. I mean, the woman just admitted she\u2019s a joke. She just admitted that she is a flawed professorette.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Well, I want to thank you, though, because like I said I\u2019ve been sitting here and I know other listeners, students and like-minded people have been sitting here for years, and it\u2019s frustrating \u2019cause I hate to see this happen —<\/p>\n

RUSH: I know. It\u2019s the like watching the news every day. It\u2019s maddening. It\u2019s frustrating as hell. It\u2019s an insult to your intelligence to be lied to like she\u2019s going to be doing to you.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Oh, yeah.<\/p>\n

RUSH: I got fired confronting a boss that was a pathological liar. I let him know that I knew and I was fired in 30 minutes.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Wow.<\/p>\n

RUSH: I was gone. Now, you won\u2019t be fired, you\u2019re a student, but —<\/p>\n

CALLER: I hope not.<\/p>\n

RUSH: — find these two websites. Like I\u2019ve got something right here from The College Fix today. This is from a North Carolina State University. Get this now, Harry. A women\u2019s and gender studies lecturer, North Carolina State, is docking her students\u2019 grades for using sexist language in class assignments. You know what sexist language is?<\/p>\n

CALLER: No, I don\u2019t.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Well, you cannot using “he” or “him” or “man.”<\/a><\/p>\n

CALLER: So what are you supposed to say? I don\u2019t get it.<\/p>\n

RUSH: You are supposed to replace “mankind” with Humans or Humankind.<\/p>\n

CALLER: You\u2019re kidding me, right?<\/p>\n

RUSH: No, no, no, no. Grades will be docked for sexist language and assignments, the section concludes.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Oh, my God.<\/p>\n

\"large\"RUSH: Oh, yeah. She\u2019ll give you probably some explicit directives like this as the course goes on, language you\u2019re not permitted to use.<\/line><\/p>\n

CALLER: Right.<\/p>\n

RUSH: And, you know, just try not to laugh in her face during class. That won\u2019t work. But it\u2019s ridiculous. There are even worse examples of this that I\u2019ve come across in the past couple of weeks. There\u2019s another university that\u2019s having a total makeover of personal pronouns and words. They\u2019re making up words to replace “he” and “she.”<\/p>\n

CALLER: My last question to you is, is there any way going forward, whether it\u2019s my generation or generations behind me, to switch the roles and to preach a more conservative agenda, not even that, maybe just an objective agenda to spread ideas.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Well, the only way that\u2019s gonna happen is if people like you and others want to try to become teachers at these schools and reform —<\/p>\n

CALLER: Yep.<\/p>\n

RUSH: — them from within.<\/p>\n

CALLER: You\u2019re right. You\u2019re absolutely right, Rush.<\/p>\n

RUSH: And I don\u2019t know if you want to do that or not. If you don\u2019t then what you have to do now is figure out a way to survive this and not let it harm you, and the best way I\u2019ve found is to just find it as entertaining and just be above it.<\/p>\n

\"large\"CALLER: Yeah.<\/line><\/p>\n

RUSH: It\u2019s frustrating as it could be, I know. Nobody escapes. It\u2019s like watching the news, like I told you. <\/p>\n

CALLER: Oh, yeah. Absolutely.<\/p>\n

RUSH: But don\u2019t forget those two websites, TheCollegeFix.com<\/a> and CampusReform.org<\/a>.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Got it.<\/p>\n

RUSH: You will love them. People just like you who are writing daily of all of these kinds of wacko, silly examples happening on campus. TheCollegeFix.com<\/a>, CampusReform.org<\/a>. I think this program inspired both of them, quite frankly. So you\u2019ll be right at home there. <\/p>\n
