RUSH: Here\u2019s Joe Biden unloading on Trump and his supporters last night at the vice president\u2019s residence. Biden invited a bunch of Hispanic leaders to the vice president\u2019s residence on the grounds of Naval Observatory.<\/p>\n

BIDEN: There\u2019s one guy absolutely denigrating an entire group of people, appealing to the baser side of human nature, working on this notion of xenophobia in a way that hasn\u2019t occurred in a long time, since the Know-Nothing Party at the, uh, uh, end (sic) of the nineteenth century. You\u2019re talking about somebody who\u2019s talking about a minority within a minority party within a minority.<\/p>\n

RUSH: All right. So that\u2019s Biden pandering to Hispanic leaders, and he went on and then he called Trump\u2019s message “sick” and assured these Hispanics that they are welcome in America.<\/p>\n

BIDEN: This will pass. Trump and that stuff you\u2019re hearing on the other team… And this isn\u2019t about Democrat-Republican. It\u2019s about a sick message. This message has been tried on America many times before. We always, always, always, always, always overcome it. So, please, don\u2019t take your eye off the ball. Don\u2019t take your off the ball. The first thing is: You\u2019re always welcome here.<\/line><\/p>\n

RUSH: What does that mean, “Don\u2019t take your eye off the ball”? Keep sending us money? What does that mean, “Don\u2019t take your eye off the ball”? Don\u2019t take your eye off the ball. What does it mean, your your friends and we need your money? He\u2019s talking to Hispanic leaders, “Don\u2019t take your eye off the ball.” What\u2019s the ball? (interruption) No, no. He\u2019s telling them, don\u2019t take your eye off the ball, meaning: “Don\u2019t stop supporting us. We\u2019re your friends. <\/p>\n

“We\u2019re the guys looking out for your minority of a minority of a minority of a minority that\u2019s a bunch of criminals. We\u2019re looking out for you. Keep sending us your money, keep donating to us, keep electing us, don\u2019t take your eye off the ball, don\u2019t be distracted by what this Trump guy is saying. Even though a majority of majority of people know he\u2019s right, don\u2019t be distracted. Keep your eye on the ball; keep sending us money.<\/p>\n

“Except maybe in a few weeks I\u2019ll be telling you don\u2019t send it to Hillary, send it to me. But for now, don\u2019t stop the money don\u2019t take your eye off the ball.” Let\u2019s go back, shall we? This is Joe Biden June 17th, 2006, nine years ago now. Does 2006 sounds like it\u2019s nine years ago to you? It doesn\u2019t to me. I hear 2006 it sounds like yesterday. Nine years ago this was, and here\u2019s Biden on the campaign trail…<\/p>\n

BIDEN 2006: In Delaware the largest growth in population is Indian-Americans, moving from India. You cannot go to a 7-Eleven or a Dunkin\u2019 Donuts unless you have a slight Indian accent. I\u2019m not joking!<\/p>\n
