I just wanted to let you know, first of all, I\u2019ve been listening since 1988, and keep up the good work. God bless you. I appreciate it.  And secondly, a friend of mine and I, we\u2019ve been talking about this for a while. Probably since, oh, the first book came out. And with the Great Pumpkin that was on last night, we were watching, and it just occurred to me, and I said, &#8220;I\u2019m gonna give it a shot to try to see if I can get hold of you today.&#8221; Have you considered turning any of your kids\u2019 books into animation for television at all yet?<\/line><\/p>\n<p>RUSH:  Oh, yeah.  We have looked into it. We talk about it all the time.  We examine every facet of this: animation, video, produce the series for broadcast and DVD.  We looked at it any number of ways.  What we have found is that it is really expensive.  So we\u2019re trying to decide when we get serious about it, do we want to own the whole thing? Do we want to partner with people that do that in their own business and do some kind of percentage deal with it? Yeah, because the demand for it is off the charts. <\/p>\n<p>CALLER: I would think so.<\/p>\n<p>RUSH: You wouldn\u2019t believe the number of readers who are asking, &#8220;Man, Rush, these would be so great as an animated series.&#8221; This was just right after the first book came out.  So, yeah, it\u2019s something we are always talking about and looking at.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"585\" height=\"315\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/BCbQBAjNWc4\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>CALLER:  Well, that\u2019s good to know.  We\u2019ll be looking forward to it when it finally comes to fruition.<\/p>\n<p>RUSH:  Well, it would be great if it did.  But I don\u2019t want anybody to misunderstand.  I\u2019m not committing to it.  I mean, even if I were, I could always pull it back next week and say I did.  But we\u2019re not committed to it.  But it\u2019s something that we would really, really like to do.  It would just open up all kinds of different distribution and present the stories in an entirely different format, which would reach even more people, which is the objective.
