RUSH: Last Friday on this program I aired a sound bite of Marco Rubio. This is after the debate. It might have been Thursday, whenever the debate was. Was it Wednesday last week? Whatever the day after the debate last week, Marco Rubio was on CBS News this morning, and Charlie Rose was interviewing him. <\/p>\n

And Charlie was loaded for bear because at the debate the night before Marco Rubio disagreed with the premise put forth by the moderators that Hillary had had a great week. She had a great week. She buried everybody in the Democrat debate and the Benghazi committee didn\u2019t lay a glove on her. She had a great week. And Rubio said (paraphrasing), “Great week? This is what you get with the Drive-By Media. That\u2019s a horrible week. That week was when Hillary Clinton was exposed as a liar.” <\/p>\n

So Charlie Rose has him on, and he can\u2019t believe that Rubio would say that. He can\u2019t believe Rubio would actually say Hillary Clinton\u2019s a liar<\/a>. So he asked him about it. “What do you mean, she\u2019s a liar? Why would she lie? You know, that\u2019s a serious charge, Senator Rubio.” You know, I\u2019m sitting here laughing my guts out. That\u2019s a serious charge. You just called Hillary Clinton a liar. And Rubio said: “I\u2019ll tell you why she lied. She lied to protect Obama\u2019s reelection campaign. They lied about the fact that a video was why Benghazi happened. They knew it wasn\u2019t a video, Charlie. They were out telling everybody else around the world that they knew it wasn\u2019t the video, that it was a preplanned terror attack, yet she, in that debate, once again said it\u2019s the video. Susan Rice goes on TV, lied to everybody in this country about the video.” And Charlie had <\/line>no clue. He had never heard — it was astounding to me. Charlie Rose had never heard the opposite side of that Hillary Clinton story.<\/line><\/p>\n

In the world in which he lives, and the people he talks to, Hillary Clinton never lies, the video was the sole reason for Benghazi. He was not even aware that she and Obama told other world leaders it wasn\u2019t. He doesn\u2019t because his own media doesn\u2019t report those things, and he doesn\u2019t read media that he\u2019s not familiar with, like we do. I made the point we read every bit of media. We read leftist media, centrist media, moderate media, mush media, conservative media, we read it all because I want to know what everybody out there happens to say or think, what they have said, what they have said they\u2019ve thought, I want to be able to pass that on to you. I have to know what liberalism is to explain it to you. I have to know what it is to be able to criticize it. <\/p>\n
