CALLER: Dittos, Rush. Thanks for taking my call. I first want to tell you why I\u2019m voting for Donald Trump.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Okay.<\/p>\n

CALLER: I started listening to you in 1990. I got a job with a painting contractor. I thought I was a Democrat, thought I was a liberal. I started listening to you, and I thought, “Wait a second. That\u2019s me.” I went ahead and finished college, got a degree in political science, and started my company. My point is my entire political awareness life I\u2019ve been listening to you. We have allowed politicians and the ruling class to run this country for however long you want to say. For 200 years, they\u2019ve run it into the ground. We are $19 trillion in debt.<\/line><\/p>\n

If someone ran my company in the ground, I wouldn\u2019t hire Rubio, I wouldn\u2019t hire Ted Cruz. I\u2019d hire Donald Trump. Those men looked like toddlers pulling at the pant leg of an adult last night. We need an adult to run this country. Now, I\u2019m a conservative, and if I want to sit around and talk about ideas — about immigration or this or that — you can do that and get along with those guys. But one thing really upset me last night when Marco Rubio thought he had a gotcha question on Donald Trump for hiring illegal aliens. I wanted to scream, “Who do you think hires illegal aliens? People like me! Businessmen, dry-wallers, painters, cement people.”<\/p>\n

RUSH: So what you\u2019re saying is that unwittingly, Rubio actually ended up hurting himself by mocking this whole thing?<\/p>\n

CALLER: Who framed his house, Rush?<\/p>\n

RUSH: What was that?<\/line><\/p>\n

CALLER: Who put the roof on? Who cut his grass? Now, I\u2019m all for immigration. Take them all away. Round \u2019em up. I\u2019d be out of business for about a week. But I\u2019m an American, and I will survive.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Wait a second. Wait, wait, wait, wait. Hang on just a second. Are you validating now supporting the whole concept of illegal immigration because they\u2019re good at certain jobs, at certain…?<\/p>\n

CALLER: I don\u2019t think it matters what Trump says right now. When Obama was running, we prayed for a candidate that it wouldn\u2019t matter what he said.<\/p>\n
