The commander-in-chief, Joe Biden, recently told soldiers that the greatest threat they face is global warming, claiming the Joint Chiefs of Staff made the assessment.<\/p>\n<div id=\"zype_60c394f7f853920001888584\"><\/div>\n<p><script src=\"https:\/\/player.zype.com\/embed\/60c394f7f853920001888584.js?api_key=6yUf3WZePk78GtpC3BXdZSqZ5ma_gYmV_rEJ8OYJZ0wq3AlDKM2RFnOcBN0xiMco&#038;controls=true&#038;audio=true\" type=\"text\/javascript\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p>Jason responded by recommending Michael Crichton\u2019s novel State of Fear, about how terrorizing a population in the name of environmentalism can harm a society just as we\u2019re seeing now. He then cited Steven Koonin\u2019s Unsettled: What Climate Science Tells Us, What It Doesn\u2019t, and Why It Matters. Koonin (who\u2019s no conservative) blows global warming alarmists out of the water. Heat waves and hurricanes are not more common than they were in 1900, and temperatures have remained stable for the past half century.<\/p>\n<p>Retired three-star general Keith Kellogg appeared on Martha MacCallum\u2019s show on Fox to respond to Biden\u2019s claim that the weather is the greatest threat we face. &#8220;I respectfully disagree with anybody who says that. It is not global warming! I mean, when you look at countries with nuclear weapons and have a capacity to strike at us in a terrorist capability, to me, is not global warming.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-401331\" src=\"https:\/\/live-rush-limbaugh.pantheonsite.io\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/06\/Screen-Shot-2021-06-11-at-1.17.03-PM-e1623431876422.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"640\" height=\"342\"><\/p>\n<p>General Mark Milley, chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, agreed. &#8220;From a military standpoint &#8212; strictly military standpoint &#8212; I think China is the number-one military threat as we go forward, but I also acknowledge that Russia is a considerable great power competitor. &#8230; There are many, many threats, but from a military perspective I put those two up there.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-401165\" src=\"https:\/\/live-rush-limbaugh.pantheonsite.io\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/06\/APP-20201-061021-Biden-US-AF-Mildenhall.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"640\" height=\"360\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.rushlimbaugh.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/06\/APP-20201-061021-Biden-US-AF-Mildenhall.jpg 640w, https:\/\/www.rushlimbaugh.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/06\/APP-20201-061021-Biden-US-AF-Mildenhall-300x169.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.rushlimbaugh.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/06\/APP-20201-061021-Biden-US-AF-Mildenhall-480x270.jpg 480w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 640px) 100vw, 640px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Jason summed up how Biden\u2019s putting this topic at the top of his agenda at the G7, saying, &#8220;It\u2019s amazing we\u2019ve got a president of the United States abroad on foreign soil (not that he would know it) talking about global warming being our number-one threat.&#8221; He also found it sad that the head of the Joint Chiefs would have to qualify his remark about China by stressing that he only meant &#8220;from a military standpoint.&#8221; What other standpoint is there if you\u2019re at the DOD?<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;But if you criticize these people,&#8221; Jason said, &#8220;you\u2019re a denier. You\u2019re criticizing science. Where did this come from? It came from Al Gore, Professor Hanson. &#8230; There\u2019s any such thing as science being settled! You develop a theory, you test a hypothesis, and then you update whether it\u2019s settled or not continually. It\u2019s never settled.
