Hanson loved vintage aircraft ever since he witnessed a dogfight above him in 1945 in London.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"YouTube video player\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/vimARhT3N2c\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>HANSON: The Spitfire pilot was chasing the enemy plane in a very tight circle. These letters moved the staff at Goodwood Aerodrome in West Sussex, and they agreed to help.
