BRETT: I\u2019m just trying to choke back the laughter that I\u2019m about to break into here at this story. “Virginia Little League Coaches Must Attend ‘Anti-Racist\u2019 Training,” and it\u2019s not so much the anti-racist training that I\u2019m laughing thinking about but the complications that are about to manifest. You\u2019ll understand in just moments.<\/p>\n

\"\"Coaches at a Virginia Little League “are encouraged to teach themselves to perceive their own ‘internalized racism\u2019 and look for ‘potential institutional racism\u2019 in the community.” In the community and outside the baseball diamond? So, like, around the town like going up and down the block? How…?<\/p>\n

Okay. So they\u2019re supposed to look for “‘potential institutional racism\u2019 in the community. Coaches are also asked to ‘be on the lookout\u2019 for moments that they can use as ‘anti-racism learning opportunities.'” So they want the coaches to have this training, and then the coaches will be present on the diamond coaching the kids in sports and then be able to then walk the streets as sort of a patrol, I guess, and point things out to kids as potential “anti-racism learning opportunities.<\/p>\n

“The alliance also offers a quiz that allows high school athletes to assess their ‘privilege.\u2019 Being a child of a parent or guardian with a college degree is one example of privilege,” one example they give. “Athletes and coaches can also use the website\u2019s ‘identity wheel,\u2019 which includes sections on sex, sexual preference, race, and religion, to ‘increase awareness of how privilege operates to normalize some identities over others.'”<\/p>\n

So, this is a Little League that\u2019s now gone woke (a piece out of the Washington Free Beacon) in Virginia. The coaches have to go to this training, have to teach the kids how to use the identity wheel and all that sort of stuff. So I understand that there is something called critical race theory. Have you heard of critical race theory? Of course you have.<\/p>\n

So would this be critical base theory? I mean, it\u2019s baseball, it\u2019s Little League. Would you take the wheel? I understand we got three strikes. You got three outs, and you got nine innings. So are we going to adjust the way the game is played? Here comes Joe. Let\u2019s look at Joe and assess. Let\u2019s turn the wheel accordingly so that Joe is now going to get six strikes.<\/p>\n

And when he does get a hit, he goes to third instead of first, so that… Okay, Joe; so you understand, okay, oh, here comes Wendy. Wendy, let\u2019s turn the identity wheel for Wendy. Wendy, we\u2019re not really seeing anything here that may apply to you. Does your parent or guardian have a college degree of any kind? They do? Okay. What is it in?<\/p>\n

Oh, it\u2019s an MBA? Okay. Wendy\u2019s got two options here. She\u2019s either gonna have two strikes or three strikes. Just bring her up, no matter what. Head back there to the bench there, Wendy. I\u2019m sorry to have to tell you, you\u2019ve got too much privilege to be batting three. You lose a turn.<\/p>\n

You can run the base paths, but it won\u2019t count. We want you to feel like you participated. Leave the mask on. In fact, give her a second mask. Run fast. You got some work to do. Rush talked about what your kids are being taught about diversity.<\/a><\/p>\n

RUSH: From Fox News: “A school district in Wisconsin said they will review a high school diversity class that exposed students to radical leftist thinkers and promoted a critical race theory that alleges white people are oppressors.”<\/p>\n

“The ‘American Diversity\u2019 class was taught to students at Delavan-Darien High School in Wisconsin.” And one of the parents reported to Fox News that it was a white privilege class. That\u2019s what the class was basically oriented toward, white privilege. “‘They\u2019re teaching white guilt,\u2019 one parent told Fox News. ‘They\u2019re dividing the students. They\u2019re saying to non-whites, “You have been oppressed and you\u2019re still being oppressed.”<\/p>\n

\"\"“The parent, who asked not to be identified, has an 18-year-old son who was enrolled in the class and became alarmed after she looked at some of the handouts provided to the students. ‘I felt it was indoctrination,\u2019 she said. ‘This is a radical left agenda and ideology that is now embedded in our school.'” It is, and has been for a while. It\u2019s called the multicultural curriculum, and the multicultural curriculum teaches this. The multicultural curriculum is 25 or 30 years old, if not older than that, and it teaches anti-Western civilization. It teaches that white European settlers came here and started causing all the trouble. White Europeans brought with them racism, sexism, environmental destruction, homophobia, all of that. That is taught.<\/p>\n

What\u2019s happened here is a parent just caught on to it. And I think what happened is the reason the parent caught onto it is because they brought it out from behind the curtain. This has been taught for a long time. Now they\u2019re just being up front and honest, the teacher is, about what is being taught rather than subtly indoctrinating the kids.<\/p>\n

They\u2019re just being up front and honest about what they\u2019re teaching and what it is. And they\u2019re calling it white privilege, and they\u2019re calling it oppression and they\u2019re saying it still exists and that there\u2019s segregation, and they divide the class up that way.<\/p>\n

“The parent said the students were taught ‘if you\u2019re white, you\u2019re oppressing. If you\u2019re non white, you\u2019ve been a victim.'” Yeah. Isn\u2019t that liberalism today? I don\u2019t mean to sound know-it-all. I\u2019m just saying it\u2019s not a surprise to me. In fact, I\u2019m a little bit encouraged that a parent finally sees what\u2019s going on, and called attention to it.<\/p>\n
