I\u2019ll tell you, it\u2019s a depressing thing to look at, the way the panic is setting in with people when they realize, “No, no, it\u2019s time to move away from the mask.” You\u2019ve got the headline from TheHill.com: “Mask Rules Spark Confusion, Tension in Congress.”<\/p>\n

Nancy Pelosi is yelling and screaming at Republicans who don\u2019t wear their masks. The New York Daily News says, “Don\u2019t Throw Out That Mask Yet — Masks should remain with us, becoming part of our everyday lives even as the covid-19 pandemic, science willing, subsides. We should never fully return to our maskless society where only health care providers donned a mask, because judicious use of masks will continue to save lives.”<\/p>\n
CNN tells you, “To help address social needs, it is my view that we should continue to feel comfortable interacting unmasked and in close contact with those in our ‘pod,'” tell me about your pod, “a small number of family and friends who explicitly agree to a similar level of mitigating behaviors, such as always wearing masks and maintaining physical distance, around those outside the pod.” Stick only with your pod.<\/p>\n

We now have covid-19 cliques forming, and they\u2019re supposed to continue. Rush had it spot-on when he said the mask is a symbol of fear.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Hi, Mr. Limbaugh. Let me first thank you for your courage and inspirational voice in this corona mess. I really appreciate it. And I would like to put this observation that I have. You know, the visual representation of how devastating this virus is never appeared. The truckloads of dead bodies never really happened. The overflowing hospitals with people dying on the sidewalks outside never really happened.<\/p>\n
So now the curve is flattening and they\u2019re desperately looking for some way to show us how bad this disease is, so, all of a sudden, it morphs from being a hand-to-mouth disease to the coronavirus is an aerial Ninja and you need to put a mask on when you leave your house to when you come back. And the main reason I can see for this is, it\u2019s the only visual they have of this virus being dangerous. And, if you say, “I want my life back, please give me my job back,” they\u2019ll say, “No, no. Can\u2019t you see? Everybody\u2019s wearing a mask. It\u2019s dangerous out there. It\u2019s dangerous.”<\/p>\n
