KEN: Say what you want about covid-19, what it means to you, how it\u2019s impacted you. You really have to give the Democrats credit. They have exploited this to a level never before seen in the history of the world. It\u2019s touched everything. Well, actually, covid-19 hasn\u2019t touched everything. But their decisions and the overreach of the government using covid-19 as an excuse has changed everything.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s changed your life. It\u2019s in your business, your school, your cars, your grocery stores. Think about it. It\u2019s impacted sports, scouting, entertainment, movies, film. Think about the power that was harnessed by what I like to call “the scamdemic.” Even the NFL, not to mention the other sports — and I don\u2019t know if you heard, but “The Biden administration on Monday announced it will rescind rules requiring people to obtain abortion drugs in-person.”<\/p>\n

Well, you know why. Because covid, covid, covid! ‘Cause of the pandemic. This reverses “a Trump administration policy that the Supreme Court reinstituted…” See, here we go again. It\u2019s all tied together. The Supreme Court. In January, they reinstituted that if you want to get abortion drugs, you should obtain them in person.<\/p>\n

Which, once again, I don\u2019t really look at that as some type of losing of your rights. “I have to be in person? How dare they!” Yeah. It\u2019s kind of an important decision, right? The FDA Commissioner “said the agency found that allowing patients to receive chemical abortion pills via telemedicine and in the mail would not increase risks and would help mitigate the spread of,” wait for it, “the coronavirus.” Here\u2019s what Rush had to say in 2013.<\/a><\/p>\n

RUSH: Make no mistake, folks — the reason the left, the political movement that harbors liberalism, the reason they want to do this is precisely to bust up the traditional notion of what is a family. The more they bust that up, the more they steer people to Washington for guidance, dependence, what have you. A lot of people on the left look at you and your family, parents, with contempt. By definition, you don\u2019t have the tools to make the best decisions in life. You\u2019re not smart enough to do what\u2019s good for you. They have to control these circumstances.<\/p>\n

\"\"You\u2019re a good person, you\u2019re just inept. You\u2019re just not capable. They have to control you. They have to do what they think is best for you. And young girls are gonna have sex, folks, you can\u2019t stop it. And pregnancy is a disease. And we\u2019re losing ground politically on abortion. So let\u2019s, let\u2019s make the morning after pill an abortion pill per se, let\u2019s just make that legal so we don\u2019t have to worry about this anymore. We\u2019ll figure out a way to compensate Planned Parenthood on the down low so they don\u2019t suffer too much, but we\u2019ll deal with that in ways that you won\u2019t even see. The bottom line is, you are too oppressive as a parent. You want to deny your daughters a full life. You just can\u2019t tell kids “no.” It\u2019s not fair. You were a kid once. You know how you felt. You can\u2019t tell a kid “no.”<\/p>\n

Who are you to tell your kid “no”? So we are gonna tell your kid “yes.” We liberals, we of the federal government, we of the Democrat Party, your kid wants to do something, we\u2019re there to say, “You do it. We\u2019re behind you. And then we\u2019ll help you deal with the consequences, because your parents really don\u2019t know what\u2019s best for you, and your parents don\u2019t understand you, but we do.” That\u2019s what\u2019s going on here. Well, if you disagree with that, stop and think for a moment. What possible interest in something like this could the Democrat Party have?<\/p>\n

Is this not an illustration of what I say I do every day? I get up. I\u2019m minding my own business. I\u2019m not bothering anybody. I check out the news, and I look at all the things I hold dear, the traditions, the institutions, the morality, the behavior, the people that I hold dear under assault. I come here and I defend it. I\u2019m called divisive. So I got up today and I learn that the Democrat Party finally secured the idea that a 15-year-old can now walk into a pharmacy, get a birth control pill, after the fact, morning after birth control pill. If you think I am a little off center on this, ask yourself what possible interest is this to the Democrat Party?<\/p>\n

Why do they care? And if you face that question honestly, if you start trying to honestly answer that, then your mind will open up to other possibilities and other things because, seriously, when it comes to having sex, getting pregnant, taking a pill to get rid of the pregnancy, what the hell\u2019s that got to do with Democrat Party? And then when you learn it has everything to do with the Democrat Party because it is about securing financial contributions from the militant feminist groups and female votes and portraying this absurd notion that there\u2019s a Republican War on Women, then you might better understand what is really happening here.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s not about women\u2019s health. It\u2019s not about female liberation. The Democrat Party is pushing this. Why? One more sound bite. Jehmu Greene here gets a shot. Martha MacCallum turns to Jehmu Greene, says, “Any of this concern you?”<\/p>\n

GREENE: What concerns me is that not all young people, not all teenagers have the relationship that probably Dr. Manny has with his daughter. For those young women who do not have that opportunity to talk to their parents, get their parents involved in this decision, we can\u2019t leave them out there in the cold, and who else has been left out in the cold are all women. When you have the ability for them not to get this over-the-counter, there are barriers by pharmacy hours being, you know, not open at all times, pharmacies not in as many locations for women. This affects all of us.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Do you believe this? So Jehmu Greene said (imitating Greene), “Well, what do you mean? Not every family has a responsible parent like Dr. Manny. And so we must take over. We are gonna be the parents. We\u2019re the ones who care \u2019cause most kids don\u2019t have responsible parents, A.” We can\u2019t leave such kids out in the cold just like we can\u2019t leave illegal immigrants in the shadows. They\u2019ve been left out in the cold. All women, she said, have been left out in the cold. When you have the ability for them not to get this over-the-counter because of pharmacy hours not open all the time, pharmacies not where these women are, you see how unfair this country is? This is obscene, folks.<\/p>\n

Let\u2019s go back, March 29th, 2008, Johnstown, Pennsylvania. This is Obama at a town hall meeting.<\/p>\n

OBAMA 2008: Look, I\u2019ve got two daughters, nine years old and six years old. I\u2019m gonna teach them, first of all, about values and morals. But! If they make a mistake, I don\u2019t want them punished with a baby. I don\u2019t want them punished with an STD at the age of 16. You know, so it — it — it doesn\u2019t make sense to not give them information.<\/p>\n

RUSH: And “information” now equals a morning-after pill. ‘Cause I wouldn\u2019t want, you know I\u2019m gonna teach them morality and all that but I don\u2019t want \u2019em punished with a baby.” Well, pregnancy is a disease.
