TODD: The Wall Street Journal is referring to H.R. 1… (laughing) This is the so-called For the People Act. It\u2019s the Democrat Survival Strategy for 2022, and this is fervently seizing control over elections, and it\u2019s something else. The Democrats are utterly brilliant. They are utterly brilliant at creating heads-they-win; tails-we-lose circumstances. In this case, they see a Lord of the Rings-like, “one bill to rule us all,” and that is the shifting of voting rules and laws.<\/p>\n

The heads-they-win; tails-we-lose dynamic is if they get this bill in place into law, it creates a circumstance where no one right-minded would trust the outcome of elections. And people who want to tear our country down and change it from within into an image of some weird, weird, authoritarian-corporatist China model with Nancy Pelosi calling shots with her technocrat friends?<\/p>\n

That\u2019s a win for them, and this proposed law would create the perfect environment for massive fraud, and it would drown or political system in cheating allegations that simply can\u2019t be disproven. On one of the final shows Rush did for us, he was still knocking it out of the park with his analysis of the Democrats\u2019 lust to totally control us and how successful they are at conning so many Americans.<\/a><\/p>\n

RUSH: All right, let me run through this 2022 thing again, because it requires a belief that nothing has fundamentally changed in American politics. It requires the belief that people didn\u2019t know what they were doing when they voted for Joe Biden and the Democrats in 2018 and 2020.<\/p>\n

\"\"“In the 2018 midterms and the 2020 presidential election, people didn\u2019t know what they were doing, and that once they see what the Democrats are gonna do — like the closing of the Keystone pipeline and some of these other things — oh, there\u2019s gonna be this massive rejection of the Democrats the next chance that people have to vote,” which would be 2022.<\/p>\n

I hear a lot of people saying this, a lot of people indicating they believe this — people on our side, people on the Republican side, traditional political junkies. They say, “Let the Democrats do whatever they\u2019re gonna do \u2019cause they\u2019re gonna get swamped. We\u2019re gonna wipe \u2019em out in the midterms! We\u2019re gonna win the House back; we\u2019re gonna win the Senate back. It\u2019s gonna be a beautiful thing.” When these people say this to me, I say, “Do you people not get what\u2019s going on here?”<\/p>\n

The days of traditional American politics where there is an agreed-to power sharing were the Democrats agree that they\u2019re gonna lose now and then. We agree that we\u2019re gonna win now and then. We agree that when we win, they\u2019re gonna beat us the hell up and try to take power away from us, and that we\u2019re gonna help \u2019em. We agree that when they win, we\u2019re gonna acknowledge that they won and we\u2019re gonna do everything we can to make sure they don\u2019t lose in the future.<\/p>\n

That\u2019s the power sharing. But sometimes, the Democrats so overstep that we end up winning anyway. If you think that we\u2019re anywhere near that, that those days of American politics survive, you have to realize that they don\u2019t any longer. The days of traditional American politics no longer exist. The Democrats, folks — and they\u2019ve been openly honest about this.<\/p>\n

The Democrats are setting it up so they\u2019re never going to lose elections again. They are setting it up so that even if they lose elections, they win. So what do you mean we\u2019re gonna win it all back in 2022? Who thinks that that\u2019s in the cards? Again, you have to believe that people didn\u2019t know what they were doing when they voted in the 2018 midterms and they didn\u2019t know what they were doing when they voted for Democrats in the 2020 election.<\/p>\n

\"\"And there are people who believe that the only reason the Democrats won in 2020 is cheating — and maybe 2018, the midterms as well. “Rush, it\u2019s gonna be so massive. They can\u2019t win except by cheating, and they\u2019re gonna get so rejected, they\u2019re not gonna be able to cheat enough to win, Rush.” I\u2019ve been hearing people say that too.<\/p>\n

So I ask these people when they give me this 2022 theory, “Well, how did they win in 2018 and 2020?” What I get back is, “They cheated, Rush.” Now, look. I am not wandering off the reservation here. But you\u2019re making a big mistake if you think that the success the Democrats had in 2018 in the midterms and the 2020 election is simply due to cheating.<\/p>\n

You\u2019re missing something very important. There are millions of Americans who knowingly voted for this. There are millions of college students who knowingly support the abolition of the First Amendment. There are millions of young people becoming adults who openly support the cancel culture and elimination of constitutional rights for certain Americans — and they are growing in number as well as growing in age.<\/p>\n
