I\u2019ve talked to too many doctors and epidemiologists who said there was a radical and complete, utter departure from scientific rigor. There is a changing of words: “cases” used to mean people are sick. That no longer meant that. Lockdowns have been known to be worthless for over a hundred years. We\u2019ll get into this more \u2019cause we\u2019ll talk a lot about masks tomorrow.<\/p>\n

But that\u2019s why. I\u2019ve never seen more lies, and I\u2019ve never seen more mockingbird media behavior. All of a sudden, it\u2019s cases, cases, cases. Take a break: Peaceful protest? Those are safe from cases, cases, cases. If you need evidence that that is the dynamic that exists, the Associated Press is ordering — well, telling — its members to not use the word “crisis” as relates to the border. Right?<\/p>\n

They\u2019re also the ones who issued the diktat. First, it was “illegal immigrant,” not “illegal alien,” and then it was “undocumented worker.” We don\u2019t know that people are working or not. That\u2019s how mockingbird works from the AP. Our friend of the program who\u2019s been with Rush a long time, Dean Karayanis, known as Koko Junior, has a brilliant piece in the Washington Times.<\/a><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>“Fifty years ago, the Washington Post broke the Watergate Scandal. Now the same paper that gave journalism a finest hour has contributed one of its foulest, falsely reporting that President Trump ordered Georgia\u2019s lead elections investigator to ‘find the fraud\u2019 and promising she\u2019d be a ‘national hero\u2019 if she did,” and he goes on to say two months later, they admitted that.<\/p>\n

Then he closes the deal (the piece is much longer; it\u2019s linked at RushLimbaugh.com): “Compare the Post\u2019s handling of this scandal to the way it confronted Janet Cooke. In 1981, she won a Pulitzer Prize for a story about an 8-year-old heroin addict who didn\u2019t exist. When exposed, none other than Bob Woodward, assistant managing editor, admitted ‘questions had been raised\u2019 in the newsroom ‘about the story not sounding right,'” and boom! “Ms. Cooke was out.”<\/p>\n

So Dean is calling for Jeff Bezos to make a similar statement about his Washington Post and this fabricated story. When Bezos bought the Washington Post, Rush predicted he would go after Trump.<\/p>\n

RUSH: A connection I don\u2019t think we can ignore here is that between Jeff Bezos (who owns Amazon and the Washington Post) and Trump. I remember when Bezos bought the Washington Post, there was a lot of curiosity about it. “What the hell? I mean, he\u2019s an uber-leftist, and everybody\u2019s known he\u2019s an uber-leftist, and he\u2019s an uber-leftist donor.”<\/p>\n
