CALLER: And number two: Over the last few weeks I\u2019ve heard you say that you feel you\u2019ve failed in getting your message out there about liberalism. I want you to know that you have absolutely not failed. You have not failed, sir. We understand. Okay? We wish you all the best. Be well.<\/p>\n
RUSH: Well, thank you. I really appreciate that. Let me share something that I saw this morning also during show prep period. It was Fox; so it\u2019s not gonna appear anywhere but there. But there were some Keystone XL pipeline workers who\u2019d been let go because Biden has shut it down, and they were reacting to having their jobs taken away, eliminated.<\/p>\n
They were bemoaning the fact that they now gotta now rely on $15-an-hour minimum wage or they\u2019ve now gotta rely on selling solar panels. And I\u2019m watching this. And I don\u2019t know if any of the people… It looked like about 15 people who were part of the protest. I don\u2019t know if any of them listen to this program.<\/p>\n
But I kept… I just couldn\u2019t stop thinking, “Why are you people surprised? What do you think the Democrat Party is? What do you think all this climate change argument is about?” It\u2019s clear as a bell that they have no desire to enhance your life! They\u2019re taking jobs away from you! This is what Biden and his administration are hell-bent on doing. They want you to become dependent on them.<\/p>\n
They want you to become, the old term, a ward of the state. You\u2019re not supposed to have enough power to oppose them! So they shut down the Keystone XL pipeline and tell you to go out and sell solar panels or whatever. You\u2019re supposed to be grateful. Now, I was happy to see these guys standing up and protesting.<\/p>\n

But I found myself asking, “How many of them voted for Biden, or how many of them vote for Democrats?” I don\u2019t know. There\u2019s no way of knowing. But it was along the lines of me… Suppose they\u2019ve listened to me, suppose they\u2019ve heard me talk about all this, and they didn\u2019t pay it any attention, or maybe they did.<\/p>\n
Maybe they voted for Trump and I just don\u2019t know what I\u2019m talking about. But it was… The odds are that there are a lot of people, coal miners, a lot of people that voted for Biden who had no idea what he\u2019s gonna do and what\u2019s yet to come. That\u2019s why I say they\u2019re gonna overstep, and it isn\u2019t gonna take \u2019em long, and it isn\u2019t gonna be pretty when all kinds of people start to figure it out.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
