<\/p>\nRUSH: I don\u2019t care what anybody does. Donald Trump is not going to leave office between now and January 20th. He may resign. I doubt that. But he\u2019s not gonna be forced out, is my point. The 25th Amendment isn\u2019t gonna happen. Pence isn\u2019t gonna do it. You got some cabinet people resigning. Some of them, like Betsy DeVos, sound like really ticked off, but I think some of the other cabinet people are resigning just to thwart the 25th Amendment effort.<\/p>\n

Pence says he\u2019s not gonna do it. He\u2019s not gonna invoke it, responding to Pelosi and Schumer\u2019s threats that there will be impeachment. I know they desperately want Trump gone, and I know that they desperately want it codified that Trump cannot run again because, make no mistake, they remain scared to death of you, and they remain scared to death of Trump. Trump\u2019s 75 million, 80 million votes. And I\u2019m gonna tell you, you\u2019re not going anywhere. Even if Trump does, you\u2019re not.<\/p>\n
You know what you believe. You know what your vision for the country is. You\u2019re not gonna give up on it. You\u2019re not gonna go packing away. I mean, some of you may not vote the next chance you get, although I would caution against saying that. The 2022 midterms are gonna be up and — I know, how can you trust an election going forward? The midterms are hundreds of House elections and Senate elections. And it\u2019s arguable — you know, I was thinking about something last night about how I am the one who said throughout these past four years — and I also echoed Obama. Obama said the exact same thing back in 2012, that it would be impossible to rig a presidential election simply because of the complexity. And I said this too.<\/p>\n
And the reason I said it was is that there are too many precincts, and there are too many states. You wouldn\u2019t know where to go. Well, I want to revise my thinking on that. Now, obviously I have to. Because if you can cherry-pick what you know are going to be the swing states and then specific precincts within those swing states, the fraud margin of victory is 1%, maybe 2% maximum. It\u2019s not big.<\/p>\n
In other words, you don\u2019t have to have massive fraud in order to rig a presidential race. You just need to have a margin of victory of 1%, 1.5 % in the right places, which is what it looks like happened. So given that, I know a lot of people are of the impression and of the frame of mind that it\u2019s now ludicrous to trust any election results and therefore it may be even crazier to participate in elections.<\/p>\n
Now, you can do what you want. I don\u2019t tell you what to do and I don\u2019t tell you what to think. I give you the opportunity to agree with me, but there\u2019s no mandate that you do. But cheating, rigging a series of midterm elections, you know, the return incumbency rate in the House of Representatives, 95%. That\u2019s a big-time, powerful figure. Ninety-five percent of all incumbents win reelection.<\/p>\n
So if you want to try to have an outcome that\u2019s not legitimate, then you\u2019re gonna have to pick the right races to target. You\u2019re gonna have to do whatever you\u2019re gonna do to rig or try to rig. It\u2019s gonna be a massive number of places you\u2019re gonna have to guess — my point is the midterm elections — I know a lot of you right now, you\u2019ve had it, the deck stacked against you no matter what you do. You thought that about going in the Georgia runoff. And then we had Lin Wood, Sidney Powell telling Republicans not to vote in the Georgia runoff until these machines from Dominion were fixed or modified to be correct.<\/p>\n

But it is still the only avenue you have. And we\u2019ll talk about it as the days unfold here. But the bottom line is is Trump is not going anywhere between now and Inauguration Day. Trump has announced he\u2019s not gonna attend Biden\u2019s inauguration, by the way. And he\u2019s doing this under the guise of safety and security, that there\u2019s no reason to throw gasoline on the fire, no reason to torment people. It\u2019s Biden\u2019s day; he\u2019ll let Biden have it. There were some who didn\u2019t attend Trump\u2019s inauguration. But Barack Hussein Obama did. George W. Bush did. But there were some holdouts.<\/p>\n
But I just don\u2019t see Trump being removed from office between now and then. They remain scared to death of you, folks. They remain scared to death that there are 75 to 80 million of you and that no matter what they\u2019ve tried — even with the events of this week — they can\u2019t separate you from Trump. And more importantly, they can\u2019t separate you from the ideas.<\/p>\n
They can\u2019t separate you from MAGA, they can\u2019t separate you from Make America Great Again, which I think remains one of our big campaign strengths going forward. The idea that making this country great is somehow bad, the idea that making America great — either again or period — is something controversial, to me is a big plus in our column.<\/p>\n
I think we\u2019re nowhere near reaching that point where a majority of Americans think America being great is a problem. It remains an objective for millions of people. It remains a goal, because it means so much to people in their real lives. Most Americans do not think America is the problem in the world. A number of Americans do. They\u2019ve been brainwashed in public education and in higher education.<\/p>\n
I\u2019m not denying that they\u2019re out there. But a majority of Americans? No. Make America Great Again is a concept of ideas rooted in the founding of our country, the writing of the Constitution, the Declaration of Independence. And it remains the bulwark. It remains the definition of America — both terms of morality and virtue and decency in politics — that people want to strive for.<\/p>\n
And they\u2019re not gonna give it up whether Trump is around to lead it or not. And that\u2019s what really bugs them.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s destruction and deception of all truth, and destruction of everything that we believe in. And it\u2019s hard to swallow. It\u2019s hard to believe. It\u2019s hard to understand. But because… Honestly, because of you and your tenacity and your straightforwardness and being the mayor of Realville, you have walked us through the last five years in seeing that this is who they are. And we are not gonna go away because we still believe in everything that Trump has represented for us. I believe he will continue to represent us in whatever (crosstalk).<\/p>\n
RUSH: You\u2019re so right on the money, Teresa. I came along. You believed what you believed in 1988. I didn\u2019t talk you into anything. In 1988, you already knew what you believed. I came along, and you rejoiced. You said, “Finally, somebody on the radio — somebody in national media — who thinks like I do.” It wasn\u2019t somebody on the radio making you think things you\u2019d ever thought of, and it\u2019s the same thing with Trump.<\/p>\n
Finally somebody in the Republican Party sounded like you, somebody running for office, running for president in the Republican Party who was an echo of you and millions like you. This is what the media has yet to figure out, and if they know it, they\u2019re in denial. The Democrat Party can\u2019t figure it out. They believe that they can destroy this bond that exists between you and Trump if they somehow make Trump look bad, make Trump look like a reprobate, embarrass you about Trump. They can\u2019t do it because you came before Trump.<\/p>\n
And the real question is, who\u2019s gonna pick up the mantle from Trump? Who are people like you gonna get behind? They are scared to death of that. Look, I got a story here from Politico. Thank you very much, Teresa. I can\u2019t thank you enough. I really appreciate it. “Trump\u2019s Grip on GOP Grassroots Holds Fast.”<\/a> Let me write a better headline for you, Politico. I mean, that\u2019s not a bad headline, but I got a better one.<\/p>\n Florida GOP leader, “The Trump name in the Republican Party is stronger than it has ever been.” You may not believe that. You may be paying attention to Drive-By Media. You think they\u2019re in the process of destroying Trump. Get your mind right. That isn\u2019t true, folks. Grassroot support for Trump holds fast, and it\u2019s gonna hold fast until there\u2019s somebody that these people can go to. And Trump wants it to be him, by the way.
