I\u2019ve got a bunch of things here that I have put together in show prep that indicate how we\u2019re gonna do this, how it\u2019s on the verge of happening again, almost a replay of 2016. But the bottom line is, we have to win this thing. We have to. I cannot imagine what our country looks like if we don\u2019t, folks.<\/p>\n<p>People ask me constantly, &#8220;What can I do, Rush? What can I do?&#8221; As though there\u2019s something more important than voting, or at least something as important and it\u2019s maybe some big secret out there. &#8220;What is it I can do?&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Folks, let me tell you something. The best thing you can do is vote. It\u2019s the single best thing you can do. Make sure you vote, and then convince four other people to vote for Trump with you. Or five or six.<\/p>\n<p>We have the power. We can save our country. We have to save our country. We can do it by reelecting Donald Trump. But every single one of you has to get out there and vote. This is not a cliche. It\u2019s not something that\u2019s easy to say and then I can say I fulfilled my responsibility.<\/p>\n<p>You\u2019d be amazed the number of people that don\u2019t vote. That\u2019s why this is so important. You\u2019d be amazed at the number of people that don\u2019t vote.<\/p>\n<p>Now, I think the turnout this year is gonna be through the roof. I think young people are gonna vote, and I think they\u2019re gonna vote for Trump. I think Trump\u2019s gonna clean up in the African-American vote as well. But you can\u2019t sit by and rely on other people to make that happen. You have to participate in it yourself. Now, if you voted or if you plan to vote, don\u2019t get mad at me for reminding you because I\u2019m talking to people who haven\u2019t. And I\u2019ll guarantee you in an audience this size, there are still a lot of people who don\u2019t yet know if they are going to vote.<\/p>\n<p>You may know people who think their vote doesn\u2019t matter, they\u2019re just one citizen out of 300 million, how can their vote possibly matter, then you start talking about fraud. Broom all of that and rethink it. Your vote matters. You are an American. You are a citizen. You have an equal say with everybody else in this country who votes. But only if you do. It\u2019s vital. Every single vote does count. Every single vote matters. And I\u2019m telling you, if everybody in this audience, if you all vote and you bring along others to vote, you will make the difference, you will make a significant difference. President Trump\u2019s record, promises made, promises kept is outstanding. He deserves to be reelected.<\/p>\n<p>Some other things here. The only thing &#8212; and I\u2019m gonna get more into this as the program unfolds today. I\u2019ve been making a big point out of how all of us Americans some years ago used to have a lot of things in common in terms of our desires for ourselves and our country and how we don\u2019t anymore. We do not have very much in common with today\u2019s left or the Democrat Party. And I\u2019m gonna go through that with even greater detail today to illustrate it for you.<\/p>\n<p>Part and parcel of that is this. The only thing right now that Joe Biden has going for him is the D next to his name. And the only reason that that matters is what that D represents to people. And that D standing for the Democrat Party doesn\u2019t mean what it used to mean, despite millions of people thinking that it does. We have to break down the old the narrative, the same old narrative that the Democrat Party is the more caring party. Simply not true. I don\u2019t know that it ever was true, but I know that it is not true now.<\/p>\n<p>Today\u2019s the Democrat Party is not the party of JFK. They\u2019re not the party of &#8220;Ask not what your country can do for you; ask what you can do for your country.&#8221; That\u2019s not the Democrat Party today. The policies that today\u2019s Democrat Party want to implement do not raise people up. The exact opposite. Today\u2019s Democrat Party needs a permanent underclass. Today\u2019s Democrat Party needs as many people dependent on government or dependent on Washington or dependent on the Democrat Party as they can create. That is the source of their power. As many citizens as they can create in need, as many citizens incapable of self-reliance. That is not a party of compassion.<\/p>\n<p>A party of compassion does not treat people as incompetent and incapable and try to make them live lives that way. A party that is compassionate would want to show people how to maximize their lives, how to maximize the opportunity being an American citizen presents. Instead, today\u2019s Democrat Party, today\u2019s American left exists to destroy the United States, to criticize Western civilization, the American way of life, because it gets in the way of their political agenda.<\/p>\n<p>The Democrat Party does not raise expectations, does not raise hopes, does not teach every single person in this country has opportunity. It does the exact opposite. It tries to tell people they don\u2019t have a chance because of evil, mean Republicans; because of evil, mean rich people or what have you &#8212; white supremacy, identity politics, racial politics, however they do it.<\/p>\n<p>They are trying to convince as many people as possible they do not have opportunity in this country, that this country is flawed &#8212; morally, religiously &#8212; deeply. The truth is the exact opposite. You see, we conservatives, we Republicans, we want a strong economy. We want a burgeoning economy. We want a growing economy. We want prosperity for everybody.<\/p>\n<p>You know why? We love everybody. We want a great country. You know why? Because we live in it! We live in the United States of America. We want it to be great. We want people to prosper. We want people to access the opportunity this country provides that people all over the world would love to come and access for themselves. We want everybody to be the best they can be!<\/p>\n<p>We want everybody to find out who they are so that they can be the best they can be. We want jobs galore. We are eternal optimists. We believe in the growth of the U.S. economy and the rising tide lifting all boats. We believe in low taxes, fewer regulations so that Americans can build their small businesses, better their lives and truly prosper.<\/p>\n<p>In other words, we believe in the Trump agenda. This is what the first three, maybe a little more than 3-1\/2 years now of the Trump administration has brought to the United States. We want all of you to prosper. We want everybody to live the best life you can. You know why? We only get one. I don\u2019t mean to sound cliched, but we all only get one.<\/p>\n<p>You could look at it as we get a do-over every day.<\/p>\n<p>If we screw up here, make a mistake there, then the next day offers an opportunity to fix the mistake we created. But the point is, we only get one, and it is special. The most special thing on earth is human life. It\u2019s distinct; it\u2019s unique; it\u2019s different. We all are blessed to have been born and have this life, and we wish everybody to maximize it, and that\u2019s the blessing of being an American.<\/p>\n<p>But today\u2019s left, today\u2019s Democrat Party does not believe any of that. They don\u2019t believe it\u2019s possible. They don\u2019t want it for people because it interrupts their path to power. Please believe me. I know it\u2019s, &#8220;Rush, these people are not that mean.&#8221; It\u2019s not a question of whether they\u2019re mean or not, folks. It\u2019s just they don\u2019t think the way we do, and they certainly don\u2019t believe in you the way we do.<\/p>\n<p>Look at Obama. Obama was president for eight years. What did he do? What did he do besides a bunch of flowery speeches? Let\u2019s look at African-Americans. How were the lives of African-Americans and minorities made better during the Obama years? They weren\u2019t. After eight years of Obama, African-Americans were still complaining about the same things they complained about when they elected him.<\/p>\n<p>They\u2019ve been doing it for 50 years. So the point is, ladies and gentlemen, we have these two competing visions, and now one of these completing visions literally seeks to eliminate the United States of America that we\u2019ve all known, that we\u2019ve assumed will always be here, that we love and adore and that we have invested in.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-286226\" src=\"https:\/\/live-rush-limbaugh.pantheonsite.io\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/09\/APP-041018-Americas-Anchorman-ADJUSTED.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"640\" height=\"360\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.rushlimbaugh.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/09\/APP-041018-Americas-Anchorman-ADJUSTED.jpg 640w, https:\/\/www.rushlimbaugh.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/09\/APP-041018-Americas-Anchorman-ADJUSTED-300x169.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 640px) 100vw, 640px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>They literally wish to tear it apart and rebuild it. They don\u2019t like the Constitution. They don\u2019t believe in it. They believe this is a slave state that\u2019s irredeemable and a nation that cannot be fixed, and that\u2019s their excuse for wanting to rip it apart and start anew. So, yeah, what can you do?<\/p>\n<p>Vote.<\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s the thing you can do. It\u2019s the thing that you must do. It\u2019s not something insignificant. There\u2019s not something that\u2019s more powerful than voting. There\u2019s not some secret thing that you can do in addition to voting that will matter more. Voting is it. It is the most important thing for the future of the country that you can do.<\/p>\n<p>All votes matter.<\/p>\n<p>Your vote matters.<\/p>\n<p>Do not think it doesn\u2019t. The only time your vote doesn\u2019t matter is when you don\u2019t vote. Your vote matters, and it\u2019s worth trying to convince as many people as you can to go with you and to vote the way you\u2019re going to vote. You want to talk about power?
