RUSH: Folks, have you heard about this? We did this as our Morning Update<\/a> today. The latest fundraising idea from the Democrat Senatorial Campaign Committee is selling something called a poetry magnet. It contains a bunch of words that you can arrange on your refrigerator. It\u2019s a refrigerator magnet. According to the Democrat Senatorial Campaign Committee website, it\u2019s, quote, ‘a creative outlet for your frustration. You can get one for $6 or you can get two poetry magnets for $10. The DSCC says that every magnet purchased will go toward helping keep the Senate blue,\u2019 and they say, think of all the fun phrases you can make with words like Sarah Palin, Tea Party, Rush Limbaugh, and Wrong. <\/p>\n

Now, here are some of the poetic possibilities that these people at the DSCC suggest. I\u2019m not making this up. They\u2019re actually selling refrigerator magnets with rearrangeable words for six and ten bucks and suggestions for you to put on your refrigerator. ‘I hate the filibuster,\u2019 because that\u2019s the Democrats\u2019 latest move now is to get rid of the 60-vote requirement since they are effectively losing control of the Senate. ‘Sarah Palin = Wrong\u2019 is another thing they suggest that you put on your fridge. ‘Fight the Right\u2019 is another suggestion. So they must think that their voters and donors are idiots. First they sell them this stupid magnet (you gotta be stupid to buy one of these) and then they think they\u2019re so stupid they gotta tell \u2019em how to arrange the letters to make words that fit the template of the modern-day Democrat Party. <\/p>\n

Do they really think, in this economy, that people are gonna pay good money to sit around spelling worthless drivel talking points on their refrigerators? And they probably are right. (laughing) I bet you they got some near lunatic, insane base leftist kooks who thinks this is gonna be the greatest Christmas presents they could give somebody. I can just see these liberals sitting at home, playing around on their refrigerator with a bunch of magnet rearrangeable letters, witless liberals plunking down money (somebody else\u2019s, probably), to buy these lame magnets. But the problem for the Democrats is, what do you do need for a magnet to work? <\/p>\n

You need magnetism, and they\u2019ve lost theirs. The Democrat Party, Obama, I\u2019ve figured out. You know what? Obama\u2019s winning the day, right? He\u2019s the comeback kid, and all he has done is cave on everything he believes. If he really wants to get accolades, cave on health care. You know, he ought to come up and say, ‘You know what? I\u2019m pulling it. I\u2019m gonna join the efforts to repeal it. We can do it better,\u2019 and then think of the things the DC media will say. ‘Whoa, what a great idea! Oh, my God, he\u2019s great! Obama, he\u2019s undefeatable now! Why, he\u2019s implementing every aspect of the Republican agenda! The comeback kid!\u2019 That\u2019s what they\u2019re telling us, Obama the comeback kid as he implements the Republican agenda. <\/p>\n

So, Mr. President, repeal health care. Go all the way on your comeback! <\/p>\n

Because the magnetism is gone. Obama has been exposed. His once great oratorical powers are now as empty as his suit. Democrat policies repel clear thinking Americans. They divide us along racial, class, gender, and every other line you can imagine. They don\u2019t attract people, which is why voters stomp Democrats in November. (laughing) They\u2019re selling refrigerator magnets! Do you have any magnets on your refrigerator, Snerdley? Do you, Dawn? You have magnets? Well, but you\u2019ve got kids. Brian, you have refrigerator…? Good. I don\u2019t, either. I have never, ever had a refrigerator magnet. I don\u2019t know that I\u2019ve even ever had one to put on the refrigerator. I know I\u2019ve never had one on the refrigerator. But Rush Limbaugh is one of the words they have for their magnets, and the biggest word they have in size is ME, m-e. At any rate (laughing), go ahead and play with your magnets. (laughing) Play with yourselves for that matter.
