You could cheat, you could print ballots, you could fill out as many as you want. It won\u2019t matter. You don\u2019t have a prayer. Trump is toast! That\u2019s what they\u2019re trying to get you to believe. So we have the illustration of this. Good Morning America today, portion of a report here from Mary Bruce, the senior congressional correspondent, about a new poll from the state of Wisconsin.<\/p>\n

BRUCE: Now, the president\u2019s handling of this pandemic continues to take a toll. Our new ABC News\/Washington Post poll shows Biden up by 17 points in Wisconsin. Now, that is a bit more bullish than some of the other public polling, but that also shows Biden improving his position in that key state.<\/p>\n
RUSH: “Seventeen points! Oh, my God! Oh, my God! Trump\u2019s down by 17 in Wisconsin? Oh, my God, it\u2019s over! He doesn\u2019t have a prayer.” Ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah. Hang on. If we go back and review what the Wisconsin poll said on Election Day 2016 and today, on Election Day 2016, Nate Silver of FiveThirtyEight gave Hillary an 83% chance of winning Wisconsin.<\/p>\n

Today, Nate Silver says that Biden has a 93% chance of winning Wisconsin. On Election Day 2016, the Real Clear Politics average… By the way, this is the gospel. By the way, the guy that runs Real Clear Politics is a good guy. Don\u2019t misunderstand. But the Real Clear Politics, you know, the average of polls, the Poll of Polls, the poll of polls of polls, the poll, the poll of all the polls…<\/p>\n
It\u2019s got all these different classifications. The Real Clear Politics average on Election Day 2016 had Hillary up 6.5 in Wisconsin. Today, the Real Clear Politics average — including this ABC\/Washington Post poll — has Biden up 7.8. Not 17. So people are freaking out over this. But if you go back to 2016, you see almost identical predictions that Hillary was just gonna romp in Wisconsin.<\/p>\n
She was gonna run away with it!<\/p>\n
It didn\u2019t matter that she never went.<\/p>\n

It didn\u2019t matter that she didn\u2019t go to Wisconsin, \u2019cause she didn\u2019t have to go to Wisconsin \u2019cause she was gonna win it big. This is nothing but a voter-suppression poll. It\u2019s nothing but a voter-suppression report. It is a tactic designed to dispirit you. There is no 17-point lead. It\u2019s the same thing it was in 2016, and Trump has been all over Wisconsin. Let\u2019s just wait and see here.<\/p>\n
