RUSH: To Houston, Dmitry, welcome to the EIB Network, sir. Hello.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Thank you, Rush. Good afternoon. It\u2019s an honor speaking with you.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Thank you very much.<\/p>\n

CALLER: I was listening to that speech that Obama made and the one that you played earlier, and two things I was kind of irritated about. I\u2019m the guy that he mentioned in that speech, the guy that came here, that left my country and the guy that had the guts and came here to try my very best.<\/p>\n

RUSH: So you are a go-getter?<\/p>\n

CALLER: I am the one. I came here, the rest of them are still there. And the only thing I\u2019m faced with here — and I\u2019ve used the example that he\u2019s using with the car that was in a ditch — the harder I try to earn this 250, I\u2019m sitting in this car and the faster I drive, there are more tollbooths ahead of me, and the faster I accelerate, the more tollbooths are ahead of me, but my bank account has only limited resources.<\/p>\n

RUSH: I understand that. That\u2019s a good analogy.<\/p>\n

CALLER: And furthermore, the harder I press, the more I pollute, the more carbon taxes, the more — <\/p>\n

RUSH: (laughing.)<\/p>\n

CALLER: — the carbon footprint I leave behind, and he wants us to bring America, to transform the country —<\/p>\n

RUSH: Right, so the more progress you make the more destruction you leave in your path.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Exactly.<\/p>\n

RUSH: (laughing).<\/p>\n

CALLER: And at the same time we shut down the drilling in the Gulf so we have to go buy the oil from the Saudis, and the more we produce and the more we try to bring America back to the manufacturing, the real capitalism that America was known about and the America that won war after war and saved world and saved nations and saved Europe and gives billions of dollars to Africa, the harder we try, the more we\u2019ll be blamed for doing so.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Yeah. I mean these are perfect analogies. Where are you from, Dmitry?<\/p>\n

CALLER: I was born in a country named Bulgaria. It\u2019s a small country between —<\/p>\n

RUSH: Right.<\/p>\n

CALLER: And the funny thing is, maybe we should give the Nobel Peace Prize to Castro instead of Gore, because the guy managed for 50 years to keep his country unindustrialized, did not kill any whales, did not spill any oil, they don\u2019t have any cows that bulge and regurgitate and increase the CO2 levels, and no meat consumption, no footprint, no melting icebergs.<\/p>\n

RUSH: In Cuba, an ideal place.<\/p>\n

CALLER: And he has a lot of similarities —<\/p>\n

RUSH: The best health care system in the world where doctors are fleeing the country, by the way.<\/p>\n

CALLER: And free rice cookers.<\/p>\n

RUSH: Free rice cookers, for some.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Yes.<\/p>\n

RUSH: And, by the way, 500,000 layoffs of government workers now.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Correct.<\/p>\n

RUSH: That just means less pollution and less destruction.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Less blame. We have nothing to blame Castro for.<\/p>\n

RUSH: So I guess what you\u2019re telling me is there\u2019s not a whole lot of ‘go\u2019 in being a go-getter.<\/p>\n

CALLER: Yes, it\u2019s a process to where the higher you fly, the colder you get. And more and more and more tolls will be introduced and he forgets to mention the following. It\u2019s not that the people are $250,000 earners, their businesses are. He does not distinguish the people that provide and work in a dry cleaners business or in a plumbing business or in whatever small mom and pop —<\/p>\n

RUSH: Right.<\/p>\n

CALLER: — shop, the business is rich, not the mom and pop. Mom and pop doesn\u2019t buy a Ferrari and Lamborghini.<\/p>\n
